CJ Bailey Over 269.6 Passing Yards (-114)
We’re not going to overthink this one. CJ Bailey has had an up-and-down season so far, clearing this line in three out of six games. He faces one of the worst passing defenses in Stanford, which ranks 122nd in passing yards allowed per game (255). Bailey averages 35 pass attempts and 264 yards per game.
Nate Sheppard Over 119.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Nate Sheppard has gone under this line in the last three games, finishing with 116, 99 and 77 rushing yards. Outside of a 55-point win over Wake Forest, Sheppard has carried the ball 20+ times in each game and averages 23 per game.
Virginia presents a neutral matchup, ranking 88th in rushing yards allowed per game (152). They have allowed running backs to rush for 118 and 142 yards in the last two games. This game currently has a 1.5-point spread, presenting a likely positive or neutral game script for Duke.
Cale Hellums Over 1.5 Touchdowns (+115)
Cale Hellums leads Army in rushing attempts and red-zone attempts (nearly five per game) by a wide margin. He has scored two or more touchdowns in four out of six games, including the last two. He scored three touchdowns against Tulsa last season. Tulsa has allowed two quarterbacks to score two touchdowns this season and is giving up nearly three touchdowns per game.
