The NBA is officially back. I'll be here every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the best NBA player props for the day. We already had an explosive start to the season, and there are so many storylines to be excited about.
As always, keep an eye on any potential news and lineup announcements. You never know who might pop up on the injury report. The best way to stay informed about NBA player props is to stay current with the latest updates. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, even in the playoffs, so ensure you get the best value.
We had another winning season a year ago (that's three out of four), and I plan on doing it again this year. Let's get to it. Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be for a single unit.

Friday’s Best NBA Player Props & Bets
Last Time: 0-0 | This Season 0-0 | Last Season: 92-76
Yaxel Lendeborg Under 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110 at bet365)
The Michigan rookie got a lot of hype coming off a solid preseason and having quotes thrown around like "future face of the franchise." It wasn't the best debut with 12 points, three rebounds and two assists, but the promise is there.
That said, it's hard to trust a rookie to get out of the gate and start running with their career. Memphis had a top-five defense last season and played at an average pace. I know it's a different team, but I still think this line is too high after combining for just 17 on this prop to open the season. This feels like a good line a month from now, and I'm buying stock on the rookie, but just not yet.
Paul George Under 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-122 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
After an impressive season opener with 38 points, I'm fading Paul George tonight, expecting him to come back down to Earth against this Philadelphia squad.
This prop opened at 23.5, so he performed well above market expectations and now faces a Knicks team that played at one of the slowest paces last year and allowed the second-fewest combined points + rebounds + assists to opposing power forwards.
The game’s 224 total reflects that, and with this prop inflated, I'm happy to take the under despite the tougher matchup.
Dejounte Murray Over 21.5 Points + Assists (-115 at Kalshi)
I couldn’t go the entire first article of the season without an over, of course, and I will continue last year's trend of targeting overs against the Utah Jazz until proven otherwise.
The Wizards were also on that list a year ago, but now I'm sticking with the Jazz as the clear team to target. No team allowed more points to opposing point guards than the Jazz last season, and they played at the second-fastest pace.
Dejounte Murray scored 23 points to open his season, which I don't think he can repeat game-by-game, but he wasn't even efficient on 18 shots. Even with seven assists, he can still regress and cover this line with ease. The usage is there, and the projected matchup strongly favors Murray having a ceiling performance.
