NFL Player Props, Picks & Predictions: Rams vs. Eagles

Here are some of Andrew Erickson’s top picks for Rams vs. Eagles. And check out all of his top picks for NFL Week 4.

Best Bets for Rams vs. Eagles

I like the Rams. They get undervalued as a true road team with no home-field cushion, and they’ve historically played well ATS as road favorites even when the final score doesn’t show it. Philadelphia’s looked overrated through three games (on offense and defense). I think the Eagles are getting way too much love here after an abysmal MNF performance. Rams had a chance to win against Denver, and I think they are the team most likely to rebound after a loss. Puka Nacua should be returning, while Philly won’t have DeVonta Smith. Honestly feels like a layup to take LA.

Since 2023, the Rams are 12-7-1 ATS after a loss (5th-best). The Eagles? 5-10 ATS (second-worst).

Per Next Gen Stats, Philadelphia’s defense has allowed the 10th-highest EPA per play (0.03) this season and has seen a decrease in fantasy production in each game this season (5.0 points in Week 1, 4.0 in Week 2 and -1.0 in Week 3). This week, they match up with a Rams offense which ranks sixth in EPA per play (0.09) and has the most total yards (963) in the last two weeks.

Best NFL Same Game Parlay for Rams vs. Eagles

Here is our top NFL same game parlay for Rams vs. Eagles. And you can view all of our Week 4 NFL same game parlays.

The Eagles have key injury news impacting player props this week. Tight end Dallas Goedert will be sidelined again, while wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been ruled out as well. This points to Dontayvion Wicks and Zach Ertz as top Philly pass-catchers against the Rams.

Wicks has already been one of Jalen Hurts' favorite receivers this year. His 179 yards, 14 targets, and nine receptions are all second on the team behind Smith. He also had 70+ yards in both of the first two games. Wicks' role should only expand with his teammate out. Let's count on him catching at least 50 yards.

Meanwhile, Zach Ertz should also be a bigger part of the Eagles' offensive game plan. The veteran tight end had one catch for nine yards in his debut last week. With another week of prep and reps with Hurts, his role is bound to increase, especially with Smith out. Philadelphia brought him in to be the pass-catching tight end in Goedert's absence. His 38% snap share from last week shows that the coaching staff already trusts him to play over Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins on passing downs.

On the Rams' side, Kyren Williams should get to 60+ rushing yards in his matchup. The Eagles have struggled to stop opposing running backs, allowing 60+ rushing yards to a lead back in all three games so far. Last week, Chicago's D'Andre Swift ran for 84 yards against this defense. Williams, meanwhile, has run for 88 and 85 yards in the past two games.

What is an NFL player prop bet?

An NFL player prop bet is a type of wager where you’re betting on the performance of a specific player in a game rather than the overall outcome. For example, you might place a bet on how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for, or how many touchdowns a running back will score. It’s a fun way to get more invested in the action, especially if you’re confident in how a particular player will perform, regardless of who wins or loses the game. It’s like focusing on one slice of the pie instead of the whole thing.
