Bryce Young Under 35.5 Pass Attempts
Last Week: 1-0 | Season Record: 13-9 | Best Odds: -105 at BetMGM
All we needed to warm up our 5-star prop bets was to focus on the NFL. We’ve cashed in three straight weeks and are 4-0 over that span, after Bryce Young obliterated his prop bet last week.
We only needed 33 pass attempts to hit the over, and he delivered 39. Let’s see if we can make it four straight weeks of profit. Just a reminder of how vital it is when you place your bet. When we wrote this bet last week, the line was 32.5 attempts. At some sportsbooks, it closed at 36.5.
With zero WNBA games today and only one MLB contest scheduled, we’re sticking with NFL props for another week. It’s Week 7, so we have more data and trends to base meaningful decisions on, and more opportunities for players to meet our five-game threshold.
The NFL Prop Bet Cheat Sheet for Week 7 currently lists 17 player props with a 100% hit rate over the last five games - with just one 5-star bet. And - believe it or not - it’s Bryce Young to go under 35.5 pass attempts. This line opened at 34.5 attempts, and BettingPros projects him at 32.2 attempts - a razor-thin margin between betting the over and the under. As tempting as it may be to take the over, we’ll side with caution and trust the cheat sheet.
Yes, Young has gone over this line in all five games this season, though two games ended with 36 and 37 attempts, barely clearing this week’s line. Since last season, Young is on a seven-game streak to the over on this prop.
On the flip side, only two quarterbacks facing the Buccaneers have cleared the projected 35.5 pass-attempt threshold this season - Dak Prescott (42) and Aaron Rodgers (49). The other four quarterbacks all went under 35.5 pass attempts.
This season, the Buccaneers are allowing an average of 35.8 pass attempts per game. The under on this prop has a 72% cover probability, so we’ll trust the cheat sheet for one more week.
