All 36 teams will take the pitch on Wednesday, and I've got you covered from a betting angle for this week's action. Below, you'll find my favorite Champions League bets for Matchday 8 of the League Phase.

This is a solid breakdown from beIN Sports of the different qualifying scenarios for each club. Only four teams (Eintracht Frankfurt, Kairat Almaty, Slavia Prague and Villarreal) are disqualified heading into the League Phase finale.

Champions League Matchday 8 Preview & Best Bets (2026)

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Eintracht Frankfurt (+310) vs. Tottenham Hotspur (-125), DRAW (+290) | O/U 2.5 (-155/+125)

Let's pick it up in Germany on Wednesday, where Eintracht Frankfurt (1-1-5) is looking to close the book on their ugly Champions League campaign. They'll take on fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur (4-2-1), who are hoping to secure a coveted top-eight spot. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET from Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany.

After losing three games in a row in all leagues, Tottenham Hotspur cruised past Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in London last week. I think they're set to break out the brooms for a sweep of German-based clubs this year, while once again helping to keep Thomas Frank's head above water.

Ultimately, this is more of a fade of Eintracht Frankfurt. The Eagles have just one win in their last 11 matches (1-4-6), which came in a Bundesliga clash against 13th-place FC Augsburg (1-0) back on December 13th. Their defense has been shredded all year, where they're conceding 2.2 goals per game domestically and 2.7 goals per game on the continental stage. Tottenham Hotspur should be motivated to secure three points, and I believe they have the offensive prowess to take care of lowly Eintracht Frankfurt.

Bet: Tottenham Hotspur Moneyline (-125)

Bayer Leverkusen (-175) vs. Villarreal (+425), DRAW (+340) | O/U 3.5 (+135/-170)

Villarreal (0-1-6) has struggled mightily this term, failing to win a single Champions League contest. They're +425 longshots to break into the win column on the final day, while Bayer Leverkusen (2-3-2) is alive and looking to secure a spot in the top 24. The hosts are currently in 20th place. This contest gets underway at 3:00 p.m. ET from BayArena in Leverkusen, Germany.

Villarreal is in the midst of a 0-0-3 slide in all competitions, getting out-scored 6-1 during the stretch. Additionally, the Spanish side has gone just 1-1-2 in their last four road matches. The defense has been the issue in the Champions League specifically, as Villarreal is conceding 2.1 goals per match. In Champions League road matches, they're 0-0-3 with a -6 goal differential (0:6). Yes, that's correct, "The Yellow Submarine" has been blanked in all three road affairs.

Ultimately, I like Bayer Leverkusen to win this match in the 2-1 range. They're a solid 5-2-1 in their last eight home matches in European leagues. Like the visitors, "The Factory XI" have struggled on the defensive side of the pitch as well, allowing two goals per match this Champions League season. Their games feature an average of 3.4 combined goals. Let's play Bayer Leverkusen to secure the victory and pair it with the alt over of 2.5 goals.

Bet: Leverkusen Moneyline & Alt Over 2.5 Goals Same-Game Parlay (+112)

Benfica (+320) vs. Real Madrid (-140), DRAW (+330) | O/U 3.5 (+125/-155)

Let's wrap it up in Portugal on Wednesday, where 29th-place Benfica (2-0-5) needs a miracle. They'll need a win over third-place Real Madrid (5-0-2), as well as some help from other teams competing on Wednesday. This match is set for 3:00 p.m. ET from Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal.

Real Madrid has been in excellent form recently, so I'll play the 15-time champs on the Moneyline. In all tournaments, "Los Blancos" are riding an 8-0-2 streak. During the 10-game sample size, the Spanish giant has out-scored the opposition 26-12. They've logged multi-goal efforts in each of those 10 contests.

Meanwhile, Benfica has been shut out in two of its last four games, including a 2-0 Champions League loss to Juventus last time out. Goals have been tough to come by for the Portuguese club, which only has six tallies in seven games in the Champions League. I have absolutely no interest in stepping in front of this upward-trending Real Madrid team. Let's back them to prevail and lock in a top-eight position.

Bet: Real Madrid Moneyline (-140)
