College Football Same Game Parlays & Picks: Week 2 (Saturday)

The 2026 college football regular season continues on Saturday, and we have a couple of bangers on the evening slate. We’ll focus on the evening games, giving you time to formulate your bets. The highlight of the schedule will be No. 1 Ohio State taking on No. 4 Texas at the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin. But that’s not the only game on the schedule, and we have some solid plays on the slate. Saturday’s Best College Football Same Game Parlays (Week 2)

Iowa State Cyclones (+490) at No. 21 Iowa Hawkeyes (-710) | O/U 41.5 (-104/-118)

Iowa State (1-0) and Iowa (1-0) battle for the Cy-Hawk Trophy in their annual rivalry game. Kickoff from Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Cyclones did a good job with a 38-10 victory over Southeast Missouri State, just barely missing as 29.5-point favorites, as the under (52.5) cashed last week at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames. On the flip side, the Hawkeyes punished an undermanned and inexperienced Northern Illinois squad 40-0, covering as a 31.5-point favorite.

Iowa State has won three of the past four games in this series, while the road team is a perfect 5-0 against the spread (ATS) in the past five meetings. The under is 6-1 in the past seven meetings in the series since September 8th, 2018, too.

It’s a little surprising to see such a huge spread, as Iowa State is catching two touchdowns. In a rivalry game, we’ll take the big points, buying up to +14.5 (-120) just as a precaution. We’ll also buy up on the total a little bit. It’s set at 41.5, but we’ll buy three points, again, just to be safe.

In addition, Iowa tight end DJ Vonnahme is a very good play as an anytime touchdown scorer, as he returns nearly 2.5 times your initial wager. He is a big-time red-zone target worth playing in a game like this.

Arkansas Razorbacks (+385) at No. 20 Utah Utes (-500) | O/U 55.5 (-110/-110)

Arkansas (1-0) and Utah (1-0) meet at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, with a 10:15 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN.

The Razorbacks struggled against North Alabama of the FCS last weekend, winning just 31-14 while turning it over three times to just one for their FCS opponent. Arkansas will have to take better care of the ball and be more disciplined on penalties, or it’s going to be a long night in Salt Lake City.

Utah routed FCS squad Idaho 66-14 last Saturday to make a winner of head coach Morgan Scalley, as he officially took over the program after Kyle Whittingham left the program for the Michigan job this past offseason. The Utes covered as a 38.5-point favorite, while the over (61.5) cashed.

I don’t love how sloppy Arkansas played in the opener against a lesser opponent, while Utah was crisp, clean and did to an FCS team what you need to see from a ranked FBS squad. As such, we’re going to lay the double-digit points with the Utes, while going under on the total.

And, like above, we’re going to take an anytime touchdown scorer prop. Utah’s Braden Pegan scored a touchdown last week against the Vandals, and he is the team’s top receiver target for quarterback Devon Dampier. Look for Pegan to get into the end zone at least once to 8X our return.

Sacramento State Hornets (+680) at Fresno State Bulldogs (-1100) | O/U 44.5 (-115/-105)

Leg 3: Fresno State Under 196.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Leg 4: Sacramento State Under 144.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Sacramento State (1-1) and Fresno State (0-1) meet at Valley Children’s Stadium in Fresno at 10:30 p.m. ET, and the game can be viewed or streamed on CBS Sports Network.

The Hornets moved up to FBS this season and to the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Sacramento State lost 28-17 to Eastern Michigan in its inaugural FBS and MAC game on August 29th in Week 0, failing to cover as 9.5-point underdogs, as the under (53.5) cashed. They pounded Mississippi Valley State University 52-0 last weekend at home as 38.5-point favorites for its first-ever FBS win. The under (56.5) hung on in that one.

The Bulldogs are looking to bounce back from a 39-0 loss to USC last Saturday as 21.5-point underdogs, as the under (51.5) cashed. Fresno State managed just nine first downs, 77 passing yards and 39 rushing yards, while turning it over twice.

Nothing is ever a lock, but Sacramento State catching 17.5 points here is quite a bit. It is excited to be in the FBS, playing an in-state opponent, while Fresno State is a shell of its former self.

The Bulldogs will be better, but expect this to be a two-touchdown game - at most. We’ll also stick with the under here, as both teams have cashed that side this season. But let’s buy up just to be on the safe side.

The Hornets’ rushing defense has been surprisingly stout, albeit against Eastern Michigan and Mississippi Valley State University, not exactly a gauntlet. Still, let’s back the Hornets’ defense to keep the Bulldogs to under 197 yards on the ground, and hope for sacks, as sack yardage counts against the rushing yardage total.

Just the same, we’re going to go low on Sacramento State’s rushing yardage total, too, as it might be the Hornets, but it’s Fresno State’s embarrassed defensive unit that will be made like hornets after last week’s debacle at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
