My college football player props from last week went a profitable 2-1, including a +132 cash on Julian Sayin’s passing touchdowns total. Since my trio of plays involving three of FBS’ top quarterbacks was successful, I am continuing that momentum with another quarterback-driven set of player prop wagers for this week.
Let’s dive into our top college football Week 12 player props for this weekend’s slate of games.

College Football Week 12 Player Props & Bets
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Jayden Maiava Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-114)
Jayden Maiava is the signal-caller for a USC offense that leads the country in SP+ rankings. But he has been trending downwards as the competition has picked up.
Maiava has thrown six interceptions in the last five games and went a combined 31-for-65 passing with three interceptions against Notre Dame and Nebraska.
Maiava got right with a two-touchdown performance against Northwestern last week. But this Hawkeyes defense is much more stout, ranking sixth in defensive SP+ and fifth in scoring defense, with zero touchdown passes allowed for four straight weeks.
The following statistic should also lend itself to USC relying on the ground game more against Iowa:
Oregon finished with 261 rushing yards and averaged 7.3 yards per carry. Most allowed by Iowa defense since 2022 and most yards per carry allowed since 2014.

Ty Simpson Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-114)
Alabama totaled just 20 points against LSU last week, largely because of an inefficient running game that averaged 2.2 yards per attempt. While that would insinuate that head coach Kalen DeBoer would have his quarterback air it out more this year, that is easier said than done against a stout Oklahoma defense.
The Sooners’ defense ranks in the top 10 of all FBS teams in creating contested catches. Oklahoma is also likely to make Alabama one-dimensional to focus more attention on its wide receivers, as the nation's best run defense should overwhelm the 112th-ranked offense in rush efficiency.
Let’s back Ty Simpson to finish with one or fewer passing touchdowns for the second straight game (and just the second time this season).
Bear Bachmeier Over 45.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier is second on the team in carries (105) and rushing yards (420). To illustrate how much of the running game falls on him and LJ Martin, BYU’s third-leading rusher has just 101 rushing yards on seven attempts.
Bachmeier entered last week with a 51.8% rushing success rate and generated a first down on more than 35% of his carries. Nearly 20% of his runs gained 10+ yards, so he doesn't even need that much volume to surpass this total, given his penchant for explosive runs.
