College Basketball: Nebraska vs. Michigan

Analysis: He analyzes the Big Ten matchup in Ann Arbor. Despite Nebraska’s undefeated 19-0 record and strong road ATS performance, he suspects they are due for a “lopsided” first loss. He points out Michigan’s elite defensive metrics (ranked 2nd in defensive efficiency and 1st in 2-point defense) and their desperation after failing to cover in six straight games. Viewing the high spread (-10.5) as a signal from oddsmakers to fade the public underdog, he lays the points with the home favorite. He takes a position on the point spread.

NBA: Bucks vs. 76ers

Analysis: He examines the low total of 219.5, noting it feels like a “dare” from the books to bet the under given recent trends. While acknowledging both teams have trended under lately, he highlights that previous matchups were higher scoring or close to this number. With the game on national TV and the potential for stars like Joel Embiid and Paul George to play (which would jump the line), he goes against the grain. He takes a position on the game total over.
