Tuesday’s Best MLB Betting System Plays

Here are our top plays of the day from the popular MLB betting systems at BettingPros.

Woody’s Hits

The ‘Woody’s Hits’ betting system has earned a 7.5% ROI on nearly 2,000 wagers this season. That’s a profit of 149.65 units despite winning just 41.4% of the time.

This system looks at unders for the hits market and asks for the cost to be +140 to +300. The player must not average a hit in more than 55% of games this season and has to be on a cold streak as follows:

  • Last 5 Games: Over in 0 to 2
  • Last 10 Games: Over in 0 to 5
  • Last 20 Games: Over in 0 to 10

On tonight’s slate, nine batters fit the criteria. However, I’m eying Patrick Bailey to go under 0.5 hits as the recommended play in this article.

Bailey has hit a .026 ISO and wOBA of .108 against his last 41 righties. Meanwhile, he’ll take on Ryne Nelson, who has struck out 30.8% of lefties over the previous month. Nelson has become one of the hottest pitchers in the league.

  • Patrick Bailey Under 0.5 Hits (+150)

K Streaks

The ‘K Streaks’ system has hit 64.3% of the time and has profited 53.07 units on 316 units wagered. That’s ultimately a 16.8% return on investment (ROI), thanks to a record of 202-112-2.

This system looks at pitchers who are favored to win the game. These pitchers must also have gone over on their strikeout number in most games this season. The system inputs are below:

  • Last 5 Games: Over in 3 to 5
  • Last 10 Games: Over in 6 to 10
  • Last 15 Games: Over in 9 to 15
  • Last 20 Games: Over in 12 to 20

David Festa of the Minnesota Twins fits the description.

Festa has struck out 32.3% of batters over the last month and will now take on a Rays projected lineup that has struck out 28.5% of the time. Tampa Bay’s lineup ultimately has seven batters with high strikeouts against righties. Meanwhile, Festa has an above-average strikeout rate against righties and lefties over the last month.

  • David Festa Over  5.5 Ks (-138)

No Bases Allowed

The ‘No Bases Allowed’ has a 14.9% ROI on 918 wagers this season. The system has earned a 62.8% win percentage and has profited 136.80 units throughout the year.

This system requires the line to be even to +1.5 and for the cost of the player prop to be -160 to +600.

The batter must not hit his line in more than 45% of games and has to be on a wicked cold streak as follows:

  • Last 5 Games: Over in 0 to 1
  • Last 10 Games: Over in 0 to 2
  • Last 15 Games: Over in 0 to 3
  • Last 20 Games: Over in 0 to 4

Cal Raleigh fits the description. He’ll likely face J.T. Ginn of the Athletics, who has earned 55.6% of ground balls against his first 13 lefties this season. Ginn has also allowed just 22.2% of fly balls and zero line drives to his first 13 lefties.

  • Cal Raleigh Under 1.5 Total Bases (-135)
