(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jo Adell (+370)
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell is having a breakout season, at least in the power department. He's hit 17 home runs already, which is only three behind his career-high 20 homers from last year. Let's bank on him going deep in a favorable spot.
Washington Nationals pitcher Jake Irvin is one of the most homer-prone starters in the league right now. He's allowed 16 home runs in 16 starts, tied for the seventh-most. This continues a trend from last season when the right-hander coughed up 29 homers in 33 starts. He also allowed 20 long balls across 24 starts in 2023.
As for Adell, he's swinging a hot bat lately. The Angels' centerfielder is batting .310 with four home runs and a 1.170 OPS over the past eight games. He's also hit 11 homers over his last 24 games with a 1.045 OPS in this stretch.
Adell's advanced metrics support his recent power surge. He has a .553 xSLG (94th percentile), 15.1% barrel rate (91st), and 47.6% hard-hit rate (75th). Plus, his bat speed also ranks in the top 1% of MLB hitters right now.
Adell has hit 13 of his 17 homers against right-handed pitching this season. He also boasts a .586 slugging percentage, .905 OPS, and .322 ISO against righties at home.
Meanwhile, Irvin has been susceptible to the long ball from both lefty and righty hitters. The Nats' starter also has a 4.79 ERA on the road this year with a 1.72 HR/9 rate in his away outings.
Junior Caminero (+390)
After hitting just six home runs last year, Junior Caminero has been one of MLB's top power hitters in 2025. The Tampa Bay Rays' third baseman has 20 homers this season, tied for the ninth-most in baseball.
Caminero now has five home runs in the past 11 games after going deep again yesterday. He also has 11 homers in his past 26 games. Over the past month, he's hitting .294 with a 1.035 OPS. Caminero is a threat to leave the park in any at-bat right now, and he can do it tonight with a favorable matchup.
Baltimore Orioles starter Tomoyuki Sugano has given up 14 home runs in 15 starts so far. The 35-year-old Japanese rookie has been decent overall, but he's also proven susceptible to allowing homers. Plus, Sugano's 4.98 xERA and 4.81 FIP are worrisome predictive metrics.
Sugano doesn't generate many swings-and-misses with a very low 14.4% strikeout rate (2nd percentile) and 17.2% whiff rate (3rd). Meanwhile, he's also allowing a 10.1% barrel rate (23rd percentile) and .290 xBA (9th). The right-hander has a 5.30 FIP and a lofty 1.85 HR/9 rate allowed at home as well.
As for Caminero, he's hitting .274 with a .567 SLG and .890 OPS against right-handed pitching this year. He's also hit 16 of his 20 homers vs. righties. Despite only batting .165 on the road, Caminero still has a team-high seven long balls away from Tampa. Sugano, meanwhile, is allowing a .321 BA and .500 SLG at home to right-handed hitters.
