Monday's Best MLB Home Run Props & Bets
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Vinnie Pasquantino (+300)
There is no hotter power bat than Vinnie Pasquantino. The Kansas City first baseman leads the league with nine home runs and 23 RBI over the last 15 days. The power surge is aided by a significant improvement versus fastballs. Pasquantino has registered a .570 slugging rate against four-seam fastballs in 2025, which is a big step up from the .390 slugging rate he recorded in 2024. Heaters left in the zone are getting smashed.
Take note that Pasquantino has logged a Royals-high 16 homers on the road ahead of a trip to Rate Field on Monday. Right-hander Shane Smith will be on the mound for the White Sox. The rookie has surrendered a dinger to a left-handed batter in seven of his past eight starts and ranks outside of the top 300 qualified pitchers in hard-hit rate (46.4%). An advantageous matchup allows Pasquantino to continue rolling.
Corey Seager (+350)
Jose Soriano is as up and down as it gets. The Angels hurler has fired six scoreless outings this campaign, but has posted seven outings with at least five earned runs allowed. A struggle to limit firm contact has been Soriano’s undoing. After all, he checks in among the bottom 20 arms in hard-hit rate (49.2%) and average exit velocity (91.7 miles per hour). Opponents have tallied seven home runs during Soriano’s most recent six starts.
The Rangers have a chance to tee off on Monday, and Corey Seager is their scariest offensive threat. The three-time Silver Slugger boasts the seventh-highest OPS facing right-handed pitching (.896) and the ninth-highest barrel rate (15.4%) in the American League. Keep in mind that he is also the only Texas player to have taken Soriano deep before. Expect that consistency and experience to pay off for Seager at Globe Life Field.
Brent Rooker (+400)
Let’s begin this pick by pointing out the obvious. It is risky to go against a dominant pitcher like Tarik Skubal. However, the Detroit ace has conceded a home run in three of his previous four starts and now travels to an incredibly hitter-friendly venue. Sutter Health Park trails just Coors Field in Statcast’s offensive park factors this year. The Athletics do not lack in strength, either, considering they’ve racked up 180 homers (sixth-most).
Brent Rooker remains a steady target in this market. The veteran outfielder sports a 39.9% launch angle sweet-spot rate and 14.2% barrel rate through 130 games played. Those are stellar marks to rely on in a stadium where the baseball flies out of the yard. What really sticks out, though, is the fact that Rooker is 8-for-17 with three blasts in his career versus Skubal. He’s the guy to trust in Sacramento on Monday.
