Friday’s Best MLB Home Run Props & Picks

Dane Myers (+520)
Over the last month, Dane Myers has a .304 ISO and a wOBA of .454 against his last 26 left-handed pitchers. The righty will likely lead off for the Reds and has hit 45% of fly balls against lefties over the last month.
Myers has even hit 65% of hard contact with a 10% barrel rate. He’s also struck out only 11.5% of the time against lefties over the last month.
Meanwhile, Myers will take on Shane Drohan of the Brewers, who is a lefty struggling against righties. Drohan has allowed a .196 ISO and a wOBA of .439 to his last 70 righties. Those 70 righties have hit 31% of line drives, with a 50% hard-contact rate. Drohan has even walked 17.1% of righties over the last 30 days, proving he’s falling behind against righties consistently.
Let’s see if Myers can capitalize.
Bo Bichette (+470)
Bo Bichette has earned a .286 ISO and a wOBA of .445 against his last 40 lefties faced. He’s added a 60.7% hard-hit rate with a 10.7% barrel rate against lefties in the last 30 days. He’s also minimized ground balls to 35.7% against lefties over the last month.
Tonight, he’ll battle San Francisco’s Matt Wilkinson, a lefty, who has allowed a .194 ISO and a wOBA of .360 to his first 38 righties this season. Those righties have hit 31.2% of fly balls, and he’s earned just 10.5% of strikeouts during that stretch against righties.
Additionally, Wilkinson has allowed 59.4% of hard contact and doesn’t have stuff that will add many strikeouts, especially against righties. I’ll ride with Bichette at +470.
Corbin Carroll (+350)
Cristian Javier will take the mound for the Astros tonight. The righty has allowed a .243 ISO and a wOBA of .416 to his last 39 lefties this season. Those lefties have added a batting average on balls in play (BABIP) of .393 with 33.3% of fly balls and only 17.9% of strikeouts,
Those numbers look good for Corbin Carroll of the Diamondbacks. Carroll has launched a .220 ISO and a wOBA of .339 against his last 71 righties. He’s also earned over 28% of fly balls with a 50.9% hard-hit rate against lefties. Carroll has been a bit unlucky against righties, despite having solid analytics. Maybe that’ll change tonight with a solid matchup against Javier.
