Atlanta Braves (+113) at Cubs (-136) | O/U 9.5 (-102/-118)
The Cubs have a juggernaut offense. According to FanGraphs, Chicago is tied for second in wRC+ (111) against righties and first in wRC+ (124) at home in 2026. Furthermore, the Cubs are first in wRC+ (130) in the previous 30 days, with a .226 ISO and tied for fourth in wRC+ (124), with a .206 ISO, in the last 14 days.
Their projected lineup has a track record of success, too. Five of their projected starters tonight have rattled off at least a 120 wRC+ against right-handed pitching since 2024. Three more of those hitters have had at least a palatable, albeit below-average, 93 wRC+ against right-handed pitching, and Pedro Ramirez has an 89 wRC+ against righties in his rookie season.
The Cubs have a sweet matchup tonight, too. In 12 starts and 13 relief appearances this season, Reynaldo Lopez is responsible for a 4.13 ERA, 4.81 xERA, 4.36 xFIP, 4.33 SIERA and 1.39 WHIP. His relief appearances aid those marks. In his 12 starts in 2026, Lopez has a 4.47 ERA, 4.99 xERA, 4.35 xFIP and 4.33 SIERA.
Additionally, Lopez has allowed a .305 wOBA to 143 right-handed batters and a .348 wOBA to 186 left-handed batters this season. Chicago’s projected lineup features three left-handed batters and two switch-hitters. The Cubs should enjoy offensive success and go over their team total of 4.5 runs.

San Diego Padres (-185) at Rockies (+152) | O/U 11.0 (-109/-110)
The Rockies are in their hitter-friendly ballpark tonight. According to FantasyPros, Coors Field has park factors of 1.310 for runs, 1.112 for homers, 1.239 for singles, 1.275 for doubles and 2.101 for triples. The park factors for runs, singles, doubles and triples lead the Majors, using the three-year calculation.
Colorado’s starting lineup requires some guesswork. Having said that, eight of the nine hitters I’m projecting to start for them tonight have had at least a 91 wRC+ against righties since 2024, with five posting at least a 101 wRC+.
The wRC+ marks aren’t overly impressive, but they get a lift from Coors Field, and that’s largely reflected in their wOBA, even with a few of those players playing on other teams during that period. Eight of the projected starters have posted at least a .317 wOBA against righties since 2024, with seven reaching at least a .322 wOBA and four sporting at least a .332 wOBA.
The group has some ability and a tasty matchup. Casey Mize has been a disaster since the Padres traded for him. In seven starts for San Diego, Mize has a 6.34 ERA, 4.50 xERA, 5.45 xFIP, 5.18 SIERA and 1.41 WHIP. He’s also coughed up an eye-popping 2.48 HR/9 with the Friars. He’s unlikely to turn things around at Coors Field, and the Rockies can hang at least five runs on the Padres tonight.
