Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants (Game Pick)

A lot has changed for the New York Giants entering this season. John Harbaugh has taken over as head coach and will look to get the Giants back to their winning ways in 2026.

Jaxson Dart will get his first full season as starter for the Giants. He’ll have Cam Skattebo back at running back and will likely have Malik Nabers available out of the gate. The Giants even added Odell Beckham Jr. to the roster, and he figures to have a role in his second stint with the team.

Ultimately, the Cowboys might start Shavon Revel at one of the two corner positions. He was Pro Football Focus’ (PFF) worst-graded corner last season as a rookie. If he doesn’t make a major leap, the Giants can pick on him all night long.

Meanwhile, the Giants’ defense has a ton of talent, including first-round selection Arvell Reese. The linebacker corps includes Brian Burns, Tremaine Edmunds and Abdul Carter, which is star-studded.

That said, if Dak Prescott can escape pressure from the front seven, he’ll also have success against the Giants’ secondary. Deonte Banks had a terrible 2025 season and is slated to be one of the main corners for the Giants this year. With a healthy CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, Dallas is dangerous in the passing game.

Therefore, I’ll buy the over 48.5 points at -105.

Dak Prescott Passing Yards (Player Prop)

Dak Prescott threw for 250+ passing yards in 71% of games last year. He nailed this line in seven of his last 10 games. Ultimately, he gets to throw to George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb, and has a solid slot receiver in Ryan Flournoy.

Prescott will have to battle being on the road on Sunday Night Football. But the fact that he gets to throw against Deonte Banks is huge. Banks was one of the worst cornerbacks last season and will have to compete against Lamb and Pickens all night. There’s going to be some big plays that will be allowed by the Giants’ secondary.

Additionally, Prescott has hit the over 50% of the time over his last eight games against the Giants. Prescott has recorded 360+ passing yards in two of his last four games against New York. Look for a game like that tonight in this Sunday Night opener.
