With the MLB offering up a 16-game slate today, there's no shortage of ways to get in on the action. I'm heading to PrizePicks, and below you'll find my three favorite MLB player predictions on the platform. If all three cash, they'll net us a 5x multiplier.

Sunday’s Best MLB PrizePicks Predictions
Alec Bohm Less Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
The MLB action starts with a marquee rubber match between the Dodgers (9-1) and the Phillies (6-2). Tyler Glasnow gets the nod for Los Angeles, while Philadelphia opts for Cristopher Sanchez. First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. ET from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA.
Like the first two games of this series (PHI W: 3-2, LAD W: 3-1), I expect to see these high-octane offenses struggle once again. Specifically, I'm looking to fade Philadelphia's Alec Bohm. The corner infielder is out to an underwhelming 7-35 start this season, slashing just .200/.222/.229. Bohm has just two runs and three RBI.
Now the Phillies slugger is tasked with trying to produce against Glasnow, who mowed down the Braves in his season debut. The right-hander held them scoreless, striking out eight batters in the 6-1 win. Bohm is 0-for-3 (.000) against the Los Angeles hurler in the past. I don't think Bohm will fix his offensive woes in this spot. I'll take him to go for less than 1.5 combined hits + runs + RBI.
Sandy Alcantara More Than 5 Strikeouts
The Marlins (5-4) handled the Braves (1-8) 4-0 yesterday, forcing a Sunday rubber match in the ATL. This National League East showdown features a pitching matchup between Sandy Alcantara and Grant Holmes. First pitch is set for 1:35 p.m. ET from Truist Park in Atlanta, GA.
Atlanta's offense has been a disaster to start the season, averaging only 2.67 runs per game (28th). They come into today's game with the fifth-highest strikeout rate, striking out 26.5% of the time.
I'll go ahead and ride with Sandy Alcantara to clear five strikeouts. I like the number since we'll have a push to fall back on if he lands on exactly five strikeouts. In two starts this season, the 2022 Cy Young winner has racked up 11 punchouts in just 9.2 innings of work. That's a 10.2 K/9 rate out of the gate. Alcantara has racked up the strikeouts against Atlanta in the past as well. The Braves have struck out 40 times in 133 at-bats against Alcantara, which equates to a 30.1% strikeout rate. Give me Alcantara to eclipse his strikeout total this afternoon.
Bowden Francis Less Than 4.5 Strikeouts
Let's wrap things up in the Big Apple, where the Mets (5-3) look to break out the brooms against the visiting Blue Jays (5-4). Toronto turns to Bowden Francis in the series finale, while New York counters with David Peterson. This interleague contest gets underway at 1:40 p.m. ET from Citi Field in Queens, NY.
I'll take Bowden Francis to throw for less than 4.5 strikeouts this afternoon. In a 91-pitch, six-inning outing against the Nationals in his season debut, the right-hander registered only four strikeouts. He has owned this Mets roster, limiting them to a 2-for-17 (.118) performance in the past. However, Francis only has two strikeouts in those 17 at-bats, which is just an 11.8% strikeout rate. The Mets have struck out at the eighth-lowest rate (20%) this season. I'll take Francis, who had a mid-tier 8.0 K/9 rate last season, to not clear 4.5 strikeouts.
