Kyle Farmer and Starling Marte both let us down yesterday, resulting in a 1-2 day. In hindsight, I should have gone with some other picks I had been eyeing, including Max Muncy over Total Bases and Zack Wheeler over strikeouts. Sometimes, you second-guess yourself and have to deal with the consequences. Today, we go with our gut 100% – no tinkering with any picks. Time to get back on track. Happy Memorial Day to all.
Overall record: 12-11-1

Sunday’s Best PrizePicks Player Predictions
Here are my favorite PrizePicks plays of the day.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 7.5 Fantasy Hitter Score
There is no better way to bounce back from some Ls than by betting on a superstar to carry with an exceptional fantasy performance. Guerrero has been struggling at the dish lately, resulting in a deflated expected hitter score for Sunday's affair. The Blue Jays also need some wins badly, as they are 2-8 over their last ten games. Guerrero is a player the team needs to rely on to get back on track.

Vladdy Jr. has surpassed this prop just once out of his last five games, but that has led to the number decreasing substantially. While his month of May at the plate has fallen short of his April numbers, the 24-year-old has still managed three homers and seven doubles so far. Twins' starting pitcher Bailey Ober is coming off his worst start of the season, and I would expect Toronto to do all they can to jump on him early Sunday.
Brandon Belt Over 0.5 Total Bases
The Blue Jays are apparently my pick today, so maybe I'll have to get some money line action in addition to the props that are standing out. As mentioned, Toronto is one of the worst teams in baseball right now, and they need to turn around their fortunes quickly. To have any chance at that, offensive surges need to be expected.
Brandon Belt has surpassed the 0.5 Total Bases line in four of his last five games, and he has recorded at least one total base in 15 of 21 games in May. The ask here is for him to record one base hit on Sunday, which is more than reasonable. The 35-year-old veteran has a .350 batting average across the month, and he should find himself in the middle of the Jays' order.
While the "overs" didn't treat me too well yesterday, here we are, tripling down for a second consecutive day. But how could you not when a talent like Javier is taking on baseball's biggest joke in the A's? Essentially a JV team that has no chance against the likes of the Astros or their probable starter. Oakland will be lucky even to record more than a few hits on Sunday.
I feel most confident in this pick and don't see a way Javier doesn't exceed this strikeout total in short order. He is averaging 6.4 strikeouts per game through his 10 appearances this season, right around the mark we are looking for. Oakland is ranked fourth-worst when it comes to team strikeouts per game, and they average even more punchouts at home than on the road.
