Saturday proved to largely be another rough state of affairs on the PrizePicks betting front. Tyler Glasnow finished with seven strikeouts against Detroit (needed at least eight), and, as (somewhat) predicted, I fell right into the Masataka Yoshida trap as he struck out against the Cubs. But hey, at least Billy McKinney's under fell into place. We continue to hover around the .500 mark going into Sunday, hopeful that the ever-elusive 3-pick-win day can hit for us again.

Sunday’s Best MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions
Overall record: 20-21-2
Gerrit Cole Over 6.5 Pitcher Strikeouts
Despite just five strikeouts per game in each of his last two outings, Gerrit Cole's line of 6.5 on Sunday against Colorado is simply too low. Sure, the game is at Coors, but that has little to no effect on a batter's ability to make contact with a pitch that is coming in from one of baseball's best.

Sure, the game is at Coors, but that has little to no effect on a batter's ability to make contact with a pitch that is coming in from one of baseball's best.
The Rockies rank 24th in the MLB in team strikeout rate (24.3%) while they sit in the basement of the NL West at 35-58. Additionally, out of the eight current Rockies that have faced Cole in their careers, the collective batting average is a measly .184 with 34 combined punchouts.
Through the first half of the campaign, Gerrit Cole is on pace towards another Cy Young-caliber season, as he holds a 9-2 record with a 2.85 ERA and 123:34 K:BB ratio. He is currently ranked 13th in the MLB in strikeouts, and he should be able to easily add to that total against Colorado on Sunday afternoon.
The Dodgers' rookie arm Bobby Miller struggled over his past four starts heading into the break, as he allowed an average of five runs per game across just over five innings pitched. No worry, however, as on Sunday, he will be facing a team that can solve all opposing pitcher problems in the New York Mets.
The Mets have (as is typical) been a complete disaster of late, as they are currently riding a four-game skid in which they have scored a total of four runs (for the math wizards out there, that is an average of one run per game). This includes back-to-back 6-0 and 5-1 losses to the very Dodgers they will be facing on Sunday.
There are few better bounce-back opportunities for Bobby Miller than Sunday's pending affair in the Big Apple. The 24-year-old possesses electric stuff, and despite the recent struggles, it has been showcased across his debut season. He has a good chance of limiting the damage tonight and continuing the Mets' bad fortune.
The Astros and Angels are squaring off on Sunday night, tied for the third-highest run total of the day across the MLB at 9.5. Mauricio Dubon has led off for Houston of late, providing added run-scoring opportunity at the top of a potent lineup. He has quietly been a very solid hitter for the duration of the season, sporting a .282/.305/.396 slash line with 49 runs scored already.
The Angels will be sending out Tyler Anderson and his season-long 5.25 ERA on Sunday against an Astros team that has put up 19 runs against them over the past two games. The runs should be flying in early and often in this one, and Dubon has a great chance of scoring his 50th run of the season this evening. The over is the play here contingent upon Dubon being in the leadoff spot for Houston, of course.
