Not only is it the best weekend of golf with the Masters taking place, but we also have a small six-game slate in Major League Baseball. We’re coming off our first losing article, so let’s right the ship and return to our winning ways.

Thursday’s Best MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks Record: 7-5
Just when we thought Walker Buehler was back following his postseason heroics, he has returned to the pumpkin he had been over the past couple of seasons. It’s still very early, but he has been tattooed in his first two starts and sports an 8.68 ERA.
Buehler hasn’t found many punchouts, with just three and four in those respective outings. It won’t get any easier to find punchouts in this one either. He and the Red Sox face Toronto, who are 25th in strikeout rate against righties this season, not too far off from their rate last year.
It’s only fitting to back the newest lefty starter on the Phillies. He has been electric in his first two starts with the team, racking up 11 (vs. Washington) and eight (vs. the Dodgers) strikeouts in his first two outings.
Luzardo is familiar with mowing down this Atlanta lineup, and they have a combined 29.3% strikeout rate across 92 combined plate appearances against him. The Braves are fourth in strikeout rate (26.2%) and 23rd in wRC+ (77) in the early going.
Gavin Williams had all the hype in the fantasy baseball community coming into the year, and hasn’t shown a thing so far. With that said, Williams gets a fantastic date with the White Sox to potentially turn it all around.
The White Sox possess one of the worst lineups in the game and are 25th in wRC+ (75) against righties this season. Six of the nine hitters in their projected lineup have a strikeout rate of 28% or higher against righties dating back to last season.
