The best series of the week has been put to a halt, thanks to Hurricane Helene storming its way through Atlanta. At least we have nine other games taking place on today’s slate to sort of make up for it. Here are three of my favorite player prop angles via PrizePicks for Thursday, September 26.

Thursday’s Best MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions
MLB PrizePicks Record This Season: 73-60-4
He likely won’t be out there for longer than five innings, but that’s all he should need to get over this line. Alexander has found four or more strikeouts in 14 of his 21 outings with at least 50 pitches. He also benefits from facing a Tigers squad with the highest K% (32.9%) and is 20th in wRC+ (70) against lefties over the past 30 days.
Sticking in the same game, let’s target another low strikeout line. Olson has slowly been building his pitch count up, and just went 58 pitches against the Orioles five days back, setting him up for an increase to around 75 pitches or so in this one. Similar to Alexander, Olson also has a phenomenal strikeout matchup facing Tampa Bay. They are second in K% (27.3%) and 23rd in wRC+ (91) facing right-handed pitching over the past 30 days.
Buehler?Buehler? What happened to you? Once heralded as an elite starter, the Dodgers right-hander has been downright dreadful this year, ranking in the bottom 22nd percentile in xERA, 34th in xFIP, 30th in K%, and 9th in swinging strike rate. The going doesn’t get any easier tonight, as he faces the Padres who are impossible to strike out. They are last in K% (17.2%) and fourth in wRC+ (122) against righties over the past 30 days. Buehler has stayed under this mark in 10 of his 15 starts.
