Yesterday, we went 3-0, with Tyler Glasnow striking out seven Giants, and Miles Mikolas and Brandon Drury failing to hit their projected lines. Tonight, all 30 teams are in action beginning with two games at 6:40 PM. Can Matt Olson stay hot against Luis Severino, will David Peterson pitch long enough to hit his over, and is Yusei Kikuchi's strikeout number just too high?

Tuesday’s Best MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions
This Season: 71-81
Matt Olson is red-hot. He has recorded multiple hits in three of his last four games and has hit safely in 12 of his last 13. Tonight, he faces Luis Severino, a pitcher who has been terrible this season. In his last three starts, Severino has allowed 18 earned runs. He has also given up a home run in seven consecutive games.
Olson has 43 home runs this season. He is 1-5 against Severino in his career, but Severino also used to be a lot sharper than he has been this season. One swing of the bat may be all it takes to hit this over.
David Peterson doesn't pitch enough innings to trust him to hit this over. In his last start, he struck out five in 3.2 innings. That performance was against the Cubs, the team with the 10th-most strikeouts in baseball this season. However, before that performance, Peterson had struck out under five batters in seven consecutive games.
Peterson has done a lot of work out of the bullpen this season, but even when he does start, he doesn't go deep into games. While the Mets are clearly trying to work him back up, he hasn't thrown more than 65 pitches in a game since July 8. He doesn't dominate batters and will have few opportunities to get strikeouts. That bodes well for this under.
Yusei Kikuchi has been pitching very well over the last month. In his last five starts, he has allowed just four earned runs and has walked eight batters. He has also struck out more than six batters in two of those five starts, yet we don't like this line for him tonight against the Phillies.
The Phillies have the seventh-most strikeouts in baseball. However, Kikuchi doesn't have a high ceiling, no matter how well he has pitched lately. The most strikeouts he has thrown in a game this season is nine, which he accomplished all the way back on April 15. Kikuchi can strike out seven or eight batters, but because he's always hovering around this number and has not blown it away this season, we like the under.
