Thursday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlays

Boston Red Sox at Washington Nationals

  • Leg 1: Red Sox Moneyline (-185)
  • Leg 2: Trevor Story Over 0.5 Singles (-105)
  • Leg 3: Adam Duvall Over 0.5 Singles (+110)

The Red Sox will visit DC to decide the winner of this three-game series against the Nationals. The pitching matchup features two left handed pitchers, with Chris Sale throwing for the Red Sox and Patrick Corbin on the hill for the Nationals. I have the Red Sox taking the third game of the series after a loss last night. I think Chris Sale will keep this Nationals lineup in check, as he’s given up two earned runs or less in his past five starts. I like two Red Sox hitters today with plus-matchups against the lefty. Look for Trevor Story to have a hit today, as he’s now settled in since returning from injury. Story is batting .288 against lefties since 2021 and is batting .333 (10-30) in his career vs. Corbin. Adam Duvall is another guy to target today for the Red Sox. He’s been hitless so far in this series, but this is a good matchup for him to get back on track. Duvall is batting .343 (12-35) in his career vs Corbin.

I like the Red Sox to break through in this series and win tonight behind their big hitters and Chris Sale’s pitching.

Arizona Diamondbacks at San Diego Padres

  • Leg 1: Diamondbacks Moneyline (-115)
  • Leg 2: Christian Walker Over 0.5 Singles (+100)
  • Leg 3: Xander Bogaerts Over 0.5 Singles (-115)

The Diamondbacks will visit the Padres as they begin a 4-game series in San Diego. The pitching matchup features two pitchers that are much different from each other. For the Diamondbacks, the young, right-handed ace Zac Gallen will be on the mound as he looks to continue his strong season (12-5, 3.24 ERA). For the Padres, the lefty veteran Rich Hill will be on the mound as he looks to improve on his struggling season (7-12, 5.17 ERA). I expect the Diamondbacks to have the edge based on the pitching matchup and how they’ve been hot recently, winning four of their past five games. I like the Diamondbacks’ solid batting lineup to take advantage of Hill today. I like the red-hot Christian Walker to continue his tear and find another base hit today against the lefty with potential for more. Walker is hitting a strong .291 against lefties this season with an OPS of 1.058. On the other side, I like Xander Bogaerts to stay hot as he'll look to continue his four-game hitting streak. I like him to hit the ball hard, as he’s had some success against righties this year with a .280 average.

I like the Diamondbacks to control this game behind their stars Gallen and Walker.
