There are legitimate expectations for Kyle Bradish heading into 2026, and his late-2025 return gave us a strong preview of what's to come.

After missing most of the season, Bradish rejoined the rotation in late August and immediately looked sharp. Across six starts, he posted a 2.53 ERA while averaging 6.5 strikeouts per outing. More importantly, he cleared this 6+ K line in five of those six appearances, showing both consistency and efficiency.

Now he draws a Minnesota Twins lineup that ranked just 14th in strikeout rate against right-handed pitching in 2025.

Twins starter Taj Bradley has seen this Orioles lineup before from his time in Tampa, and the results haven't been encouraging. In two of his three outings against Baltimore last season, he allowed five or more earned runs, struggling to limit damage against this core.

Gunnar Henderson, in particular, has thrived in this matchup. In 20 at-bats, he's hitting .400 with a .700 slugging percentage and a .300 ISO. Three of his eight hits have gone for extra bases, which tells you the quality of contact has been elite.

In the first game of the season we saw Henderson batting second, sandwiched between leadoff hitter Taylor Ward and newly acquired Pete Alonso, so there should be plenty of opportunities to score or knock in a few runs as well.

I think Baltimore could win by multiple runs today, but to play it semi-safe we will take an alternate run line of -1.

This lineup has serious upside, especially with the additions of Ward and Alonso complementing an already talented young core. Once this group gets rolling, it has the potential to be one of the most dangerous offenses in baseball.
