MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (4/2)

We’ve got two games in the MLB slate today, with a couple of Game 2 matchups between the Rangers-Orioles and Twins-Astros.

Although the NFL will get most of the attention today, there’s still profit to be made in the MLB.

I have three Sleeper player props for today’s MLB Postseason action.

Sunday's Best MLB Sleeper Picks Player Predictions

Grayson Rodriguez Under 5.5 Ks (1.62X)

The Orioles will pitch Grayson Rodriguez in a high-pressure spot. The Orioles lost Game 1 at home yesterday. Another loss at home tonight would destroy the hopes of Baltimore fans after an incredible season.

Grayson Rodriguez is a rookie pitcher that could potentially fold under pressure. He likely won’t last 100 pitches, and his strikeouts against left-handers have dropped significantly over the last month.

Rodriguez has only struck out 19.6% of batters in the last 30 days. He’ll take on a Rangers lineup that has six lefties in the lineup. Those six lefties have only struck out 21.4% of the time collectively.

Take Rodriguez to go Under.

Corey Seager Over 1.5 Total Bases (1.90X)

Corey Seager is a left-handed slugger on the Rangers, hitting a .292 ISO and wOBA of .381 against his last 76 righties. Seager has only struck out 13.2% of the time against righties in the previous month while hitting over 30% of fly balls and line drives. He’s also smacked 50% of hard contact against righties in the last 30 days.

Meanwhile, he’ll face Grayson Rodriguez of the Orioles, who hasn’t struck out lefties at a high rate. He’s also allowed a .205 ISO and wOBA of .365 throughout the season against lefties.

Seager’s got a tremendous matchup tonight.

Framber Valdez Over 4.5 Ks (1.90X)

Framber Valdez will take the hill for the Astros. He’s struck out 32% of batters in the last 30 days, including 53.3% of lefties.

Valdez has only faced 15 lefties in the last 30 days and likely will only take on one lefty in the Minnesota lineup. But every strikeout counts. He’ll likely face Max Kepeler, who has struck out 26.7% of the time against lefties in the last month.

Meanwhile, Valdez will also face Donovan Solano, Jorge Polanco, and Kyle Farmer, who have all struck out at least 23% of the time against Valdez.

Valdez has thrown an average of 95.23 pitches per start this season. He’s also been dominant in the playoffs in previous years. His strikeout rate has increased from 24.8% to 32% in the last 30 days. He’s on point right now and will face a Twins lineup with six players with a below-average ISO against lefties.

Take Valdez to at least earn a strikeout per inning. He might even go six innings.
