We have a surprisingly large slate of games this Thursday in Major League Baseball. With 11 games on the board, we have plenty of options to choose from, and per usual, the focus will be on pitcher player predictions. Let’s dive right into three of my favorites for June 13.

MLB Sleeper Picks Player Predictions
Sleeper Record: 101-53
Watching Lance Lynn pitch is painful, so don’t bother. He struggles with his command but still manages to find five strikeouts regularly. The Cardinals veteran is over this in nine of his 13 starts this season and draws a nice matchup taking on Pittsburgh. They have the third-worst K% (25.7%) over the last 30 days against righties. Seventeen of the last 25 righties to face them have gone over this, so I’ll take my chances with the erratic Lynn.
This is heavily juiced to the less than, but it’s still worthy of a play in my eyes. Reynaldo Lopez might not have the best control, but he has stayed under this in nine of his 11 starts this season. Atlanta isn’t letting pitchers past around 85 pitches. He will face the Orioles who are tied for the sixth-worst walk rate (7%) over the past 30 days against right-handed pitching. Twenty of the past 25 righties to face them have stayed under this.
The Royals’ pitching staff is getting their you-know-what handed to them this series against the Yankees. New York has a league-best 134 wRC+ and is just 21st in K% (21.5%) against righties over the past month. That spells trouble for Alec Marsh, who likely will be out of the game after five innings at the max. He is capable of finding five strikeouts, but I’m not so confident he will have the time to do so before the Yankees bats chase him out of the game.
