Monday’s Best MLB Sleeper Picks Player Predictions
PrizePicks this season: 85-67-9 | Sleeper Picks Playoffs: 24-15
Corey Seager Over 0.5 Runs
The Rangers starting Shortstop has routinely crossed home plate this postseason, eclipsing this mark in 10 of 14 games. He has 15 runs scored this October, the most of any player in the playoffs. The high-powered Rangers offense should be able to drive him in if he gets on base, unless if he just does it himself by hitting one out of the park.
Tommy Pham Over 0.5 Strikeouts
He’s coming off a 4-4 performance with two doubles in Game 2, but Tommy Pham is bound to regress today. Taking on Max Scherzer will not be a welcomed sight for him either considering he is 3-23 with 10 strikeouts against Mad Max. Pham strikes out at a 3.6% higher clip against righties (23.4%) compared to lefties (19.8%). This postseason he has struck out at a 30.7% rate and has gone over this mark in 11/13 games in October.
Corbin Carroll Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, RBIs
The NL Rookie of the Year has been the D-Backs best bat throughout the year and should be able to do damage once again tonight. Hitting atop the Arizona lineup, Carroll has exceeded this number in four straight games and seven of 13 overall this postseason. Ranking in the 99th percentile in spring speed, Carroll is always a threat to steal whenever he gets on and is a solid bet to score whenever he reaches base. His 116 runs scored this season were 7th best. He also has plenty of pop and has hit a homer against Max Scherzer.
