Cleveland Cavaliers (-130) at Toronto Raptors (+110) | O/U 237.5 (-110/-110)
The Cavaliers (12-6) and the Raptors (12-5) meet at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto at 7:00 p.m. ET on Peacock.
Both teams are coming in on zero rest. Cleveland is 2-1 straight up (SU) this season when playing on zero rest, with the only loss coming against Toronto at Rocket Arena in a 126-113 setback as 7.5-point favorites. The over (238.5) cashed in that one, and it is 2-1 in three games when playing in the second end of a back-to-back.
For the Raptors, this is the third time playing on no rest. They’re 0-2 SU/against the spread (ATS) in two previous tries, splitting the total 1-1.
This is the third meeting of the season between these teams. Toronto has won both previous meetings, each in Cleveland, scoring 119 points per game (PPG) and allowing 107 PPG, while also going 2-0 ATS, with the total splitting 1-1.
The Raptors head into this game on fire, winning seven in a row and 11 of the past 12 outings. Toronto is 5-2 ATS in the past seven and 9-3 ATS across the past 12 outings. The Cavaliers have won four of the past five games, but they’re just 2-4 ATS in the past six games, and 6-12 ATS overall on the season.
Back Toronto on the Moneyline, while going low on the total, which has cashed in five straight games for Cleveland.
Picks: Raptors Moneyline (+110) & Under 237.5 Points (-110)
Portland Trail Blazers (+110) at Milwaukee Bucks (-130) | O/U 235.5 (-106/-114)
The Trail Blazers (7-10) and the Bucks (8-9) meet at Fiserv Forum with a tip time of 8:00 p.m. ET.
Portland was blasted 122-95 in Oklahoma City on Sunday as a 16.5-point underdog as the under (233.5) cashed, and then it jammed out for Milwaukee on a chartered Delta 757, arriving in Milwaukee at 11:37 p.m. CST. That’s going to be a tough turnaround, while the Bucks were getting plenty of rest in their own beds.
The Blazers are 1-1 SU and 2-0 ATS when playing on no rest, while the total split in those two games.
For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo (adductor) has been ruled out for this game, thus why the Bucks are favored by such a small margin.
Portland has failed to win in five of the past six games, and it is just 2-6-1 ATS in the past nine games, while the under has a slight 2-1 edge in the past three games. On the road, the Blazers are 1-6-1 ATS in the past eight outings, while the over is 4-1 in the previous five road contests.
Milwaukee has dropped four in a row, while going 0-4 ATS, and the over has a 5-3 edge in the past eight games. The Bucks are 2-10 ATS in the past 12 games, too.
Let’s side with the Bucks to get the job done, even without the Greek Freak, and we’ll side with the over.
Picks: Bucks -2 (-110) & Over 235.5 Points (-106)
Houston Rockets (-220) at Phoenix Suns (+184) | O/U 226.5 (-110/-110)
The Rockets (10-4) and the Suns (11-6) meet at Mortgage Matchup Arena in Phoenix on Monday in the second end of the Peacock doubleheader.
Houston has won four in a row in this series dating back to March 2nd, 2024. We get the not-so-long-awaited return of Kevin Durant to the Valley of the Sun after his offseason blockbuster trade to the Space City. Houston is 5-1 ATS in the past six meetings in this series, and 7-2 ATS in the past nine since December 2nd, 2022.
The Rockets have won five of the six games, while going 4-2 ATS. The over is on a 6-2 run in the past eight, although both of those under results have come in the past two games.
For the Suns, they’ve won three in a row, while winning eight of the past nine games. Phoenix has covered three in a row, too, while going 8-1 ATS in the past nine contests. The under has hit in two in a row, and the total has gone low at a 7-3 clip across the past 10 outings.
Let’s back the Suns catching big points at home, and we’ll side with the under.
Picks: Suns +5.5 (-106) & Under 226.5 Points (-110)
