(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook unless otherwise stated)
San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks
San Antonio is on a roll right now. They did not lose a game in February, a streak of 11 in a row. New York didn't have as good a month, but went 8-4 during February. They recently ended a three-game road trip with a 127-98 win over the Bucks in Milwaukee.
The Spurs are known for their offensive balance and strong defense, especially in the paint, where Victor Wembanyama dominates opponents. New York has often been at its best when playing at home, with Jalen Brunson leading the way on the scoreboard and Karl-Anthony Towns policing the paint.
Earlier in the season, the Spurs edged out the Knicks 134-132 at home. But the Knicks beat the Spurs for the NBA Cup this season. With both having relatively healthy rosters, this game should be competitive. With how well the Spurs are playing, it's hard to bet against them.
Pick: Spurs Moneyline (-120)
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Denver Nuggets
This will be the fourth of four games scheduled between the Timberwolves and Nuggets this season. Denver has won all three - by 13 points, 11 points and four points. But the last one was on Christmas Day, and a lot has transpired since then for both teams. As they come into this one, both are 37-23. Minnesota has won three out of four since the All-Star break; Denver has won two out of five. Both teams are led by superstars - Anthony Edwards and Nikola Jokic.
Denver has one of the most efficient offenses in the league. Minnesota is solid on both ends, but can be susceptible on the wings and inside. However, the key to this game could be the injury reports. Minnesota has no major injury, but Denver could be without Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson.
Denver has been up and down the last couple of weeks; Minnesota has been more consistent. As long as you can get the Timberwolves at plus odds, take them.
Pick: Minnesota Moneyline (+100)
Sacramento Kings vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Sacramento is one of the league’s worst teams, with many of its best players out for the season. The Lakers are one of the top teams in the Western Conference with some of the biggest stars in the league - Luka Doncic, LeBron James and, to a lesser extent, Austin Reaves. The Lakers have been slacking in recent games, losing three in a row. But the Kings are 2-17 in their last 19 games. However, they are 2-1 in their last three.
Los Angeles has not been putting its best foot forward the last few games, but playing a team as bad as the Kings at home should get them back on track with a big win.
Pick: Lakers -13.5 (-110 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
