Dallas Mavericks (+295) at Atlanta Hawks (-370) | O/U 238.5 (-112/-108

The Mavericks (21-43) and Hawks (33-31) meet at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, with a tip off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Dallas looks to improve on a 7-23 road record, while Atlanta has a 15-16 mark at home, which is a little bit surprising. The Mavs have won four consecutive meetings, while going 3-1 against the spread (ATS) in the span. The Over has cashed in each of the past three meetings in Atlanta, too, while Dallas has covered each of those three games in the ATL.

Dallas was crushed 122-92 last time out in Toronto on Sunday, coming nowhere near a cover as a 10-point underdog while the Under (234.5) cashed. Dallas has lost seven in a row, while going 2-5 ATS in the span. The Under has cashed in six in a row.

For Atlanta, it has won and covered six in a row, with the Over hitting in each of the past three outings. Atlanta has scored 125+ points in each of those games. However, the Under is 6-3 across the past nine outings.

Jonathan Kuminga of the Hawks is questionable due to a bone bruise in his left knee, while the Mavericks are relatively healthy going into this game, save for Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II, who have been sidelined for the long term due to surgeries.

Let’s back the Hawks to get the job done, and we’ll go Under on the total, even though the Atlanta offense has been banging lately.

Picks: Hawks -9 (-114) & Under 238.5 Points (-108)

Charlotte Hornets (-154) at Portland Trail Blazers (+130) | O/U 227.5 (-110/-110

The Hornets (32-33) and the Trail Blazers (31-34) square off at Moda Center in Portland at 10 p.m. ET.

The Blazers are looking to avenge a 109-93 loss in Charlotte on Feb. 28 as a 7-point favorite as the Under (229.5) cashed. In that loss, Portland’s Jrue Holiday went for 25 points, while Jerami Grant ended up with 21 points. For Charlotte, Moussa Diabate ended up with 13 points and 11 points, one of six players with at least 10 points. Brandon Miller led the way with a game-high 26 points and eight rebounds.

The Hornets were tripped up 111-99 in Phoenix to kick off a four-game road trip, and they’ve dropped two in a row while going 0-2 ATS in the past two outings. The Under is on a 4-1 run, too. Despite the two-game losing streak, Charlotte is 6-2 SU in the past eight games, while going 9-2 ATS across the previous 11 contests.

For Portland, it is just 2-3 SU in the past five outings, while going 1-4 ATS in the span. The Over has cashed in three of the past four outings, too.

We’re going to back the Hornets laying the little bit of points. Coby White is out due to a calf injury, but that’s the only important missing player. For Portland, Shaedon Sharpe remains sidelined due to his stress reaction in the left fibula, although the good news for Portland is that Deni Avdija has been healthier lately, and no longer on the injury report.

Picks: 76ers +7.5 (-110) & Under 232.5 Points (-110)

Minnesota Timberwolves (-134) at Los Angeles Lakers (+114) | O/U 234.5 (-110/-110)

The Timberwolves (40-24) and the Lakers (39-25) meet up at Crypto.com Arena at 11 p.m. ET in the nightcap of the NBC doubleheader.

This is the third meeting of the season, and the Lakers have won and covered each of the first two games, both as an underdog, with each outing coming back in late October. That includes a 116-115 win in the Twin Cities as a 7.5-point underdog on Oct. 29 in Minneapolis as the Over (224.5) cashed. The total went high in each of the matchups in October, too.

Minnesota was pounded 119-92 at home against the Orlando Magic last time out on Saturday as a 6.5-point favorite while the Under (224.5) cashed. That halted a five-game winning streak, but the Timberwolves are still a dismal 2-6 ATS in the past eight games, and 4-10 ATS in the previous 14 outings since Feb. 2. The Under has cashed in each of the previous five outings.

Los Angeles is coming off a 110-97 win over the New York Knicks in a marquee matchup on Sunday. The Lakers are 5-1 SU/ATS in the past six games, while the Under is 4-1 across the past five outings, and the total has gone low in seven of the past nine contests.

The big news for this game, though, is that LeBron James is questionable due to a right hip contusion and left foot arthritis. If he cannot play, that changes the total complexion of the game. Let’s play this one as if he will not be ready, and take the Timberwolves, while siding with the Under.

Picks: Timberwolves -2.5 (-110) & Under 234.5 Points (-110)
