New York Knicks (-146) at Toronto Raptors (+124) | O/U 224.5 (-108/-112)
The Knicks (40-22) and Raptors (35-25) meet at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto at 7:30 p.m. ET. New York has won 11 consecutive games in this series since Dec. 1, 2023. Toronto’s last victory came on Jan. 22, 2023 in a 125-116 victory. The Knicks are 10-1 against the spread (ATS) in that 11-game series win streak, too. The Under has cashed in each of the past three meetings this season.
The Knicks belted the San Antonio Spurs 114-89 last time out as a 1-point underdog while the Under (227.5) cashed on Sunday to kick off March. The Knicks have won four of the past five games, but they’re still just 2-4 ATS in the past six outings. The Under is 4-1 in the past five games, too.
For the Raptors, they stopped the Washington Wizards 134-125 on the road, just missing as a 13.5-point favorite on the road while the Over (228.5) cashed. Toronto has won three of the past five games outright, while also going 3-2 ATS. In the past nine games, the Raps are 6-3 ATS. The Under has cashed in five of the past seven outings, too.
Both of these teams are very healthy for this time of season, with no notable players on the injury report. That being said, we simply need to look to the trends. Until Toronto can figure out how to beat New York, back the Knicks, and let’s go low on the total
Picks: Knicks -2.5 (-110) & Under 224.5 Points (-112)
San Antonio Spurs (-290) at Philadelphia 76ers (+235) | O/U 232.5 (-110/-110)
The Spurs (43-18) and 76ers (33-27) meet at Xfinity Mobile Center in Philadelphia at 8 p.m. ET, and that’s the first game of the NBA/Peacock doubleheader.
These teams split last season, with the home team winning each meeting. However, Philly is 8-2 SU in the past 10 meetings. The Spurs covered both of the meetings, however, and they’re 3-0 ATS in the past three trips to Philadelphia. The Over has cashed in five in a row in this series, too.
The Spurs were humming along with 11 consecutive wins before getting blasted 114-89 in New York last time out. The Spurs are still just 2-3 ATS in the past five games, while the Under is 3-1 in the past four contests.
For the Sixers, they’re 3-1 SU in the past four games, while also going 3-1 ATS, and the Over has cashed in four of the past five outings, too. Still, Philly is only 3-5 ATS in the past eight, and 5-7 ATS in the past 12 home contests.
San Antonio has no notable players on the injury report, while Philly will be without Joel Embiid (oblique) and Paul George (suspension). The good news is that Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) is available to play.
Still, despite Oubre being available, take the Spurs to get the job done straight up, if you’re looking to simply declare a winner and not play around with the points. However, if you’re taking the points, bet Philly catching nearly four buckets on its home floor. Also, we’ll go Under, based on San Antonio’s recent play.
Picks: 76ers +7.5 (-110) & Under 232.5 Points (-110)
Phoenix Suns (-450) at Sacramento Kings (+350) | O/U 224.5 (-114/-106)
The Suns (34-26) and Kings (14-48) meet at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Tuesday night in the nightcap of the NBC and Peacock doubleheader at 11 p.m. ET.
The Suns have won all three meetings this season, with a 2-0-1 ATS mark, while the Over has cashed in two of those outings. The Suns have averaged 120.3 PPG in the meetings, while allowing 106.0 PPG.
Phoenix edged the Los Angeles Lakers 113-110 as a 5.5-point underdog at home last time out, while the Under (223.5) cashed. That was an explosion on offense after posting just 77 and 81 points in the past two outings, and the cover snapped an 0-4-1 ATS skid. The Under is still 3-0 in the past three contests.
Sacramento was trounced 128-104 against the Lakers on the road Sunday, missing as a 13-point underdog while the Under (235.5) cashed. That snapped a 4-0 Over run for the Kings.
The Kings are having their issues, as they declared Domantas Sabonis (knee) and Zach LaVine (hand) to be out for the season due to surgeries, so that’s a giant chunk of offense gone. LaVine was leading the team with 19.2 PPG and Sabonis had 15.8 PPG, while leading the team with 11.4 RPG and 4.1 APG. It’s a hard pair of players to replace for the tanking Kings.
Let’s back the Suns laying the points, and we’ll go Under based on Phoenix’s struggles lately, and the Kings cashing low last time out.
Picks: Kings +10.5 (-110) & Under 224.5 Points (-106)
