Sunday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jalen Johnson Over 18.5 Points (-125)
It might be time to take the Hawks seriously. They have won six straight and against teams like the Cavaliers and Bucks. The offense is looking great, averaging 117.3 points per game (eighth).
It's not all Trae Young, though, as he's finally getting support and could make them a team to watch.
One to look out for is Jalen Johnson, as he's second on the team with 19.8 points per game. He has no problem taking over and has led the team in points in six out of the last nine games. He's facing the Nuggets, which could be a high-scoring game. They are allowing the fifth-most points to the small forward position.
Donovan Mitchell Under 23.5 Points (-120)
After dropping two in a row to the Hawks, the Cavs got back to their winning wins and have taken four straight. It was a surprise when they brought in Kenny Atkinson to coach, but it has made them the best team in the Eastern Conference and the top offense in the league (122.0 points per game).
Playing the Heat won't be easy. Although their offense isn't great, they can defend and are 11th in adjusted defensive efficiency. It's not just a couple of positions, but they can efficiently contain each position. It doesn't help that they are coming in the second leg of a back-to-back, and this is a tougher matchup than it was on Saturday.
Look to fade Donovan Mitchell with Miami allowing the 10th-fewest points to guards.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 47.5 Points + Reounds + Assists (-115)
The last time Milwaukee and Brooklyn faced off it was a close game until the Nets went on a run in the fourth to get the win.
That was the Bucks' third game, but this is not the same team from before. They are on a two-game skid but had previously won seven straight.
Brooklyn has lacked consistency all season. They picked up the win in their last game against Indiana but previously had three straight losses. Before that, they won three straight.
In that last matchup, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team in points (22), rebounds (12) and assists (seven). He has done this in four of his previous six games.
