Monday's Best NBA Player Props & Bets
Anthony Davis Under 10.5 Rebounds (+105 at Fanatics Sportsbook)
We are fading the big man against the Hornets, the top rebounding team against centers, and the 10th-ranked team overall.
Anthony Davis has averaged nine rebounds (and 15 rebound chances) per game over three games and hasn’t cleared 10 rebounds in his last two. The Hornets have not allowed more than eight rebounds to a center.
Cooper Flagg Over 21.5 Points (-105 at Novig)
The reigning NBA Rookie of the Year is trending toward playing after his shoulder injury, and we are getting a nice discount on Cooper Flagg’s points line at 21.5, as it closed at 22.5 and 24.5 to start the season.
The Heat have started the season poorly on defense, and Flagg and the Mavericks face a pace-up matchup. He is scoring 52% of his points in the paint (outside the restricted area), where the Heat allow the seventh-most points. The Heat allow the second-most points to pick-and-roll ball-handlers (Flagg’s dominant play type) and have the second-worst defensive rating.
Tyler Herro Over 23.5 Points (+102 at Novig)
This is a great bounce-back spot for Tyler Herro after scoring a season-low 14 points. The Pacers are on the second leg of a back-to-back (possibly tired legs) against a Bucks team that averages the third-most possessions per game (the Pacers rank 11th).
Herro has a median usage rate of 32% and 21 field-goal attempts per game. This game features high volume/usage, fast pace, a close spread and a total of 239.5.
