Sunday’s Best NBA Player Props
Bam Adebayo 4+ Assists (+110)
Since scoring 83 points earlier this month, the past few games haven't gone incredibly well for the Miami Heat superstar, unfortunately. The shooting rates are well below his averages recently. Subsequently, it's been a good time to get some positive returns on his assists props. In what should be a high-scoring affair, we could most certainly see Bam Adebayo finishing with four or more assists.
The Heat center is averaging 3.5 assists per game in March. Adebayo has finished with four or more assists in six out of 12 games this month. Adebayo is averaging four assists over his last five road games and has finished with at least four assists in three of those games.
Adebayo is distributing four dimes over the last five games played against the Central Division. The veteran has finished with at least four assists in three out of the last four games. His combined rebounds + assists prop is also an option. However, we want the positive payout with just his assists prop.
Ziare Williams Over 11.5 Points (-125)
The Brooklyn Nets have all but waved the white flag. Brooklyn has visions of the first pick in the draft. Anything beyond that is of little concern. This gives us a small angle on points props, considering the Nets are rolling out some straightforward lineups lately.
Ziaire Williams is averaging 23.9 minutes over the previous five games - an increase of 2.8 minutes per game compared to last month. The Nets forward has been quite efficient from either inside the perimeter (52.8%) or beyond the arc (50%). The volume of attempts also works in our favor. Williams is averaging 10.6 attempts over the previous five games.
Brooklyn's rotation can be somewhat troublesome. However, we are going to side with one of their better scoring options that appears to be in a good spot when it comes to playing time. Williams has scored 12+ points in five consecutive contests - with an average of 17.2 points over that span.
Derrick White Under 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-108)
We have been rolling with this selection for a few weeks now, and it has been paying off handsomely. This may be a risky spot, given that the pace of this game could be one of the fastest today. Derrick White is having difficulty reaching a combined 25+ points + rebounds + assists - a trend that could continue today.
White is averaging 17.4 points, 4.8 assists and 4.5 boards through March, yet is only shooting 39.6% from the field. Things are not much better when shooting from beyond the arc - where White is connecting on 30.1% of attempts. The Celtics guard has finished with a shooting rate of 40% or worse in eight out of 13 games this month.
White has not combined for at least 25+ points + rebounds + assists in five consecutive games. Since Jayson Tatum returned, White is averaging 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. He has been listed as questionable for multiple games now with a knee ailment. However, if the Celtics keep rolling him out there, it makes sense to take the under on his combo prop.
Alperen Sengun to Record a Double-Double (-120)
Alperen Sengun has recorded 31 double-doubles this season. He is averaging 20.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists in the previous 10 games. We mention both the assists and rebounding numbers because Sengun is capable of recording a double-double with either.
The Rockets center has finished with a double-double in four out of the previous six games. Opportunities for rebounds will almost certainly be available in this contest. New Orleans ranks in the bottom half of the league regarding field goal rate (46.6%).
The Pelicans concede the sixth-most rebounds in the league, giving up over 55 boards to the opposition each contest. As for assists, New Orleans is ranked seventh amongst all teams, with 27.8 assists allowed per game.
Sengun has been rolling over the previous six games. We feel good about his chances to record a double-double today.
Nikola Jokic 27+ Points (-108)
The under for Nikola Jokic’s combined points + rebounds + assists props has been quite lucrative - albeit squeaking by one on the prior two occasions. Pivoting to an over on his points prop in tonight's contest against Golden State appears to be the more logical approach. Jokic has put up the points when playing the Warriors, and it very well could be more of the same for this game.
Jokic has finished with 27+ points in three of the previous five games played against Golden State. In three matchups against the Warriors this season, Jokic is averaging 27.3 points. The Nuggets center is averaging 27.5 points in home games this season, and is averaging 28.6 points over his previous 10 games at home.
Golden State allows over 51 points in the paint each contest, with that number rising to 54 over the last three games. Jokic has made 425 out of 789 field goals from either the restricted area or in the paint. The three-time MVP should have no problem finding scoring opportunities down low against a severely undersized Golden State team.
Enjoy the games tonight. Best of luck with your picks.
