Jalen Brunson Over 30.5 Points (-110)

Jalen Brunson has scored at least 35 points in back-to-back games entering this one. He’s also played at least 37 minutes per game over his last three games and has a usage rate above 31% in the previous 10 games.

Tonight, Brunson will battle a Spurs squad ranked 27th in three-point rate against point guards. The Spurs also rank 26th in points allowed to point guards. Brunson should be the star of the show for the Knicks. After all, he’s attempted more than 20 shots per game over the last five games, while shooting 55.8% during that timeframe. Brunson will also likely see many three-point opportunities. He’s hit 41.6% from downtown over the last five games and has attempted seven three-pointers per game over that five-game span.

Brunson is one of the most clutch players in the league. In the NBA Cup Championship, he’ll be ready to go.

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 2.5 Assists (-138)

The hope is that Karl-Anthony Towns earns some assists on Jalen Brunson’s field goals. Towns has added no more than two assists in two consecutive games, but he’s tallied at least three assists in 63% of games this season.

Ultimately, the Spurs rank 28th in the NBA in assists allowed to centers this season. Towns has averaged 4.2 potential assists per game over the last 10 games, but will likely see that number increase tonight. In fact, over his previous five games against the Spurs, Towns has averaged 4.8 potential assists per game. So that ultimately lines up.

Additionally, this is the NBA Cup Championship. The starters will play most of the minutes in this one. You don’t have to worry about minute restrictions or anything in this game. Let’s take Towns’ over.

Josh Hart Under 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (-132)

Josh Hart concluded his game against the Orlando Magic with zero three-pointers on four attempts. Ultimately, he’s averaged 5.1 three-point attempts per game over the last 10 games. But he’s only shooting 35.1% from downtown during that time.

Meanwhile, the Spurs rank sixth in the NBA in three-point field goal rate and ninth in three-pointers made by shooting guards this season. The Spurs typically defend the three well against shooting guards.

Hart has averaged just one three-pointer per game in his last four games against the Spurs. In last year’s game against the Spurs (March 19, 2025) Hart missed all three of his three-point attempts in 35 minutes. Hart should do many good things in tonight’s game. But hitting threes won’t be one of them.
