Following a road sweep in Miami, the Nuggets return home as sizable -8.5 favorites. With that steep of a spread, it’s relatively safe to assume the Finals are wrapped up, and I’d lean towards Denver covering. They are 9-1 at home this postseason and 6-4 ATS. It would be great to see the Heat play spoiler to have more basketball, but Jokic and Co. will likely be lifting the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy tonight.

In a must-win situation for Miami, targeting the heart and soul of the team seems like a pretty good idea. Similar to the last game, where he had 45 minutes, Jimmy will be playing just about every minute tonight. With 40+ minutes on the floor this postseason, Butler has 12+ rebounds+assists in 11/14 games averaging 13.5 per game. He has cleared this line in nine of the 14. Including the two regular season matchups, Jim has gone over this in five of six against the Nuggets as well.
Caleb Martin Over 9.5 Points
Yes, Tyler Herro is going to suit up today, but how effective is he really going to be? The Heat need someone other than Adebayo or Butler to step up in the scoring department if this game is going to be competitive, so look no further than the man who dominated the ECF, Mr. Caleb Martin. He was sick the first two games of the Finals, and since then has resumed seeing his 30+ minutes on the floor.
He’s not scoring at the level he was against the Celtics but has still put up 10 (4-9 shooting) and 11 points (5-12) over the last two games. When seeing at least 25 minutes, Martin has 10 or more points in 16/17 playoff games. He should play for around 30 minutes and have the shot volume to get over this mark once again.
Bam Adebayo Over 19.5 Points
I’ll admit it. Taking three Heat player props after saying they are going to lose is a bit counterintuitive. With that being said, they won’t be going down without a fight, and Adebayo, like Butler, will be on the floor for the vast majority of the game. He has eclipsed this line in all four games and had 22 and 19 points in their two regular-season matchups. Dating back to 2020, he has 19+ points in 9/11 games against Denver.
