The Denver Nuggets took Game 1 behind an absolutely ridiculous performance from Nikola Jokic. He had 34 points, 21 rebounds, and 14 assists, which easily cleared every total that was set for him by PrizePicks. Will Jokic have a similar game on Thursday, and what should we expect from his teammates and the Lakers?
This Season: 33-33

Wednesday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
Here are the best PrizePicks plays for Thursday, May 18th's NBA action.
It's surprising to see this number so low. Jokic’s total for rebounds is set at 13.0 which seems right considering he has gone below that number twice in his last four games. While his points total seems a little low at 27.5, the Lakers could make defensive adjustments against him. However, Jokic has had at least 11 assists in five consecutive games, and there is no reason to think that's going to change tonight.

Will Jokic have a similar stat line to Tuesday night? It's unlikely, but that probably won't stop him from recording his fourth triple-double in a row. If he does, then that means he will have at least 10 assists.
Russell only had eight points in Game 1, but that is an outlier, not a trend. He only played 26 minutes, and he did not make a single three-pointer.
Russell doesn't seem like someone the Lakers rely too heavily on, but he did average 17.8 points per game this season, and he has scored in double figures in 10 of his 13 games during these playoffs. The other two times he scored in single digits during the postseason, he scored at least 15 points in the next game.
Davis went for 40 in Game 1, and it is very likely that bettors are going to be all over his over tonight. However, we think this is actually a good time to take his under.
Davis scored more than 25 points just once against the Warriors, and against the Grizzlies, he scored more than 25 just twice. He has yet to record back-to-back 25-point games during the postseason, and of the seven previous times he has scored at least 20 points, he has followed up that performance with fewer than 20 points five times.
