Steph Curry failed to score 30 in Game 1 of his series against the Los Angeles Lakers, while Anthony Davis had no such problem. Those were two good wins for us, but we did suffer a loss as Gabe Vincent continued to play incredibly well for the Miami Heat. There is only one game in action tonight, as the Golden State Warriors will try to even things up before they travel to LA.
Here are the best PrizePicks plays for Thursday, May 4's NBA action.

Thursday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
LeBron James had a great first game against the Golden State Warriors, scoring 22 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. He has scored 22 points in three of his last four games. However, since his 20-rebound performance against the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 4 of that series, James has not compiled enough rebounds to come near the number being presented today.

Additionally, the Lakers hold a 1-0 series lead. We saw the Miami Heat rest Jimmy Butler in a similar situation. Granted, Butler was hurt, and there is no possible way James will miss this game. Yet, he also likely won't hit the 40-minute mark like he did in Game 1. In fewer minutes, LeBron should struggle to hit this number. But even if he comes close to 40, this number is just too high.
What has changed between Tuesday night and today to make us think that Davis can't produce another ridiculous rebounding night? He had 23 rebounds in Game 1, and there is little reason to think that the Warriors will suddenly find an answer for him on the boards.
Davis did play 44 minutes in Game 1. Yet even if he sees less playing time, he had 14 boards in 28 minutes in Game 6 against the Grizzlies, and he had 19 rebounds in 35 minutes in Game 6 of that same series. Davis is averaging 15.0 rebounds per game this postseason, and he has just one game under 10 so far. The Warriors are a good matchup for him, and even if he struggles to score as he did in Game 1, he should clean up the boards nicely.
Curry scored 27 points in Game 1, shooting 6-13 from the field. While many may be surprised by this performance, we called it. After his 50-point performance in Game 7 against the Sacramento Kings, Curry was due for a letdown game. Even though 27 points is nothing to scoff at, it did lower his total by a point for this game.
Curry will have to be the guy to prevent the Warriors from going down 2-0 in this series. We have seen him come up huge in such moments, and we expect him to have another huge performance tonight. He won't go for 50 but will clear the 30-point mark.
