Monday’s article didn’t hold the best results, with a 1-2 day recapping of the day. That brings the playoff record down to 11-6, but there’s still plenty of time to boost that back up. We only have two games tonight with teams slowly, but surely falling out of contention. Here are three of my favorite PrizePicks player predictions for Wednesday, May 1.

Wednesday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks record: 122-83-1
Nikola Jovic More Than 14.5 Points + Rebounds
It didn’t work out last game, but he’s worth going right back to. The Heat will now be without Jaime Jaquez Jr., Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier, so it only makes sense we see more from Nikola Jovic in Game 5. For whatever reason, he only played 16 minutes last game, but when he sees playing time without Butler, he typically finds his way over this mark. In Games 1, 2 and 3, he played 34, 25 and 26 minutes, respectively, and managed to find 23, 20 and 16 points + rebounds in those matchups. When he has played 20+ minutes without Butler, Jovic has put up 14+ points + rebounds in 10-of-14 games, averaging 16.7 per game. He should play closer to 30 minutes in this one given how short-handed they are.
Al Horford More Than 2.5 Assists
Boston will also be missing a key component to their lineup with Kristaps Porzingis out for Game 5. Stepping up for him at the five spot will likely be none other veteran Al Horford. In 14 games without Porzingis this season, Horford is averaging roughly 30 minutes per game. He has gone over this assist prop in 15-of-19 games, averaging 3.4 assists per game.
James Harden More Than 17.5 Points
This might be cheating a bit, but I had James Harden circled for the over on his normal prop at 21.5, so let’s take the discounted price at PrizePicks while we’re at it. The Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard for the foreseeable future, meaning Harden and company will have to replace a big chunk of his production on offense. So far, Harden has done great taking on a bigger load, scoring 28 and 33 points in the two games without Leonard this series. He put up 21 and 22 in the other two games Leonard played.
