Friday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks record: 12-5
Tobias Harris Over 22.5 Points+Rebounds
I’ll keep writing this until it fails. Without James Harden in the fold, Tobias Harris has seen a big uptick in scoring and usage. He is averaging 19.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game without the beard around this season and has eclipsed this mark in six of seven games. Last year was more or less the same without him, as he averaged 25.2 points+rebounds per game and exceeded this line in 14/20 games. Joel Embiid will have his hands full in the rebounding department with Jalen Duren all over him, which should create more board opportunities for Harris in this spot.
Rudy Gobert Over 25.5 Points+Rebounds
The French Rejection is in a phenomenal matchup tonight taking on the Spurs. They play extremely fast (9th), are terrible at defense (last in defensive net rating), and have allowed the 8th most points in the paint. The Centers to take them on have all found success, even in limited minutes due to blowouts. Mitchell Robinson (20 combined points+rebounds), Myles Turner (26 in 21 minutes), Jakob Poeltl (26), Jusuf Nurkic (24), Ivica Zubac (24 in 22 minutes), Alperen Sengun (39), and Dereck Lively II (26) all have had their way with San Antonio. Gobert has gone over this mark in five of seven games this season.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 5.5 Assists
The leading assist man of the Thunder gets a solid matchup to add to his tally taking on the Sacramento Kings. They have permitted the tied-for-fifth most assists per game and there should be plenty of dishing opportunities given the fact that OKC is fifth in pace. Shai is averaging 6.4 assists and 13.4 potential assists per game. He has gone over this mark in five of seven contests and ought to be able to once again with the matchup on hand.
