The Mikal Bridges conundrum on Wednesday made it a 1-2 day for yours truly. He started but only played 12 minutes to preserve a streak for the most consecutive games played. Very strange instance, but a good reminder to always be on top of all the news within the NBA especially when it comes to injury news.
Anyhow, let’s dive into my three favorite player props on PrizePicks for this Friday, December 29.

PrizePicks record: 43-32
Another day, another fade of the Wizards defense in the paint. They are allowing the most points and rebounds to centers and Nic Claxton is well aware of their struggles inside the paint and off the glass. He had 10 points and 13 boards against them in 28 minutes back on November 12, and 13 points and 15 rebounds in 26 minutes against them on December 8. As long as this game stays competitive, he should go over this mark.
We've got an insane 250-game total in this one between the Kings and Hawks, both of whom rank in the top 10 in terms of pace. There's going to be plenty of scoring and stat padding throughout this contest, and Jalen Johnson should be one of the many benefactors of this game environment. In his first game back in over a month, he finished with a 10/9/4 line in 29 minutes. Before getting hurt, Johnson was averaging 14.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game, and had 20+ points+rebounds in 10 of 14 games. Given how fast this game will be played, and that he just played 29 minutes, Johnson should be able to surpass this mark once again.
The Cavaliers are going to be without both Darius Garland and Evan Mobley for the foreseeable future. Donovan Mitchell has also missed some time as of late and is questionable to suit up in this one, but if he does go, he should go over this mark. In his last two games without both Garland and Mobley, Mitchell put up 43 and 35 points and assists. He's the primary facilitating option without Garland around and is averaging 40.2 points and assists in 15 games without Garland over the last two seasons. He has 34+ points and assists in 11 of these 15 games. Milwaukee is one of the worst teams at defending the guard position, allowing the third most points per game to shooting guards as well.
