Friday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions

RJ Barrett More Than 19.5 Points

This is a phenomenal spot for RJ Barrett to put up some points against the Hawks. They have been torched inside the paint this season, allowing the third-most points within that region. That’s exactly where Barrett does his work, scoring roughly 60% of his points inside the paint. Since joining the Raptors, RJ has put up 19 or more points in 13-of-19 games. With a 244.5 spread, paired with the Hawks’ abysmal defense and high-tempo pace, he should be able to find 20 in this one.

Trae Young More Than 23.5 Points

Simply put, this line is far too low for Trae Young. He’s averaging 26.8 points per game this year and has exceeded this number in 31-of-50 games (62%). Young has put up 35, 38, and 30 points against Toronto this season as well. Since trading defensive stalwart OG Anunoby, the Raptors are 28th in defensive net rating dating back to December 30.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Fewer Than 45.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

This wager is not for the faint of heart. With that being said, this is just a miserable matchup for Giannis and any other big for that matter. The Timberwolves possess the league’s best defense per dunksandthrees.com metrics and also play at the sixth slowest pace. They have allowed the fourth fewest points, second-fewest rebounds, and fewest assists per game to opposing Power Forwards this year. They held the Greek Freak to 17 points, three rebounds, and seven assists just a couple of weeks ago.
