The NBA playoffs are nearly here with the regular season ending this coming Sunday. With so many teams not playing for much be careful to note which players will be playing normal minutes and which will not. Here are three of my favorite player predictions for Friday, April 12 at PrizePicks.

Friday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks record: 110-75-1
Josh Giddey Less Than 26.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
This line is far too inflated for Josh Giddey when the Thunder are at full strength. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander available, it’s hard to see him surpassing this line even in a good matchup taking on the Bucks. Giddey is averaging 22.7 points+rebounds+assista (PRA) per game with Gilgeous-Alexander and is under this in 54/72 (75%) games with him on the floor. Given the hit rate, this is a clear play.
Jarrett Allen Less Than 31.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Jarrett Allen did go over this mark in their last meeting, finishing with 33 PRA, but that was a game without Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell. Both are healthy and will be playing in this contest. When Allen plays with Mobley, he typically stays under this mark. He is averaging 27.7 PRA in those games, going under this line in 30/43 games (70%). Let’s ride with the numbers and go under here again.
Joel Embiid More Than 29.5 Points
If they’re going to give us this line, we have to take it. Joel Embiid is over this mark in 30/38 games (79%), averaging 34.8 points per game on the season. This isn’t the easiest particular matchup, but Embiid is also impossible to guard, so it doesn’t matter who he plays at this line.
The 76ers took on the Magic back on January 19th. Guess what Embiid did? He scored 36 points. There’s a decent chance this moves, but even if it’s at 31.5, it’s worth a play. He’s over that line in 24/38 games (63%). Philly needs to keep the winning up to maintain their playoff seeding. Embiid will be playing with intent in this one.
