Like his last three games against inferior defenses, Zion Willamson will have his way against the Raptors. Toronto is 27th in defensive rating and 20th in points in the paint allowed. Williamson has eclipsed this mark in seven of his 11 games this season, averaging 36 points + rebounds + assists per game.
We’ve got a revenge game on our hands with Daniel Gafford taking on his former employer. These revenge game narratives tend to be overblown, but this is an awesome matchup for Gafford. The Wizards rank last in defensive rating and rebounding, and 26th in points in the paint allowed.
Without Dereck Lively, Dwight Powell, Luka Doncic and Naji Marshall, there is plenty of production to be filled for the Mavs today. Look for Gafford to play a big role in filling those shoes.
Failing to cover this in five of his last eight contests, Michael Porter Jr. has been in a bit of a rut as of late, which presents us with a perfect buy-low spot. He and the Nuggets take on one of the more offensive-friendly teams in The Association, the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls rank third in pace, 24th in defensive rating and 29th in rebounds and three-point attempts allowed. Porter shoots from beyond the arc 48% of the time and has eclipsed this number in 34 out of 45 games (76%) games this season.
