Monday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks record: 26-21
Brandon Ingram Over 21 Points
The Pelicans are back to full strength, hence the lower line for Ingram, but it feels like too much of a correction, especially in this matchup. The Kings have really struggled against wings, and have allowed the third most points per game to Small Forwards. Ingram and the Pelicans squared off with Sacramento in a back-to-back just a couple of weeks ago and he put up 31 and 23 points in those contests. Given the state of this game, he will see plenty of time on the floor, and the Kings will have their hands full dealing with Zion down low as well. Ingram has 20+ points in 13 of his last 15 games averaging 24 points per game.
Jayson Tatum Over 30 Points
In a pace-up spot with a game total of 241, Tatum is bound to go off against Indiana. They play at the fastest pace, and when these teams met up earlier in the year, Tatum put up 30 points in just 25 minutes before Boston blew them out. The Pacers were without their MVP Tyrese Haliburton in that contest. He’ll be there tomorrow and this will be a competitive one, no doubt. The Pacers have the second-worst defensive net rating though, so Tatum will be able to score with relative ease in this spot.
CJ McCollum Over 5 Assists
The Pelicans leading assist man is back in the fold and should have plenty of dishing opportunities in this one. Sacramento plays significantly faster with De’Aaron Fox in the lineup, ranking sixth in pace over the last 10 games. The Kings have also permitted the ninth most assists per game to Point Guards, and CJ is the main facilitator of the offense when he plays. He had eight dishes last game with a potential for 15. McCollum has five or more assists in all eight games played, averaging 5.9 per game.
