Here are three of my favorite player predictions via PrizePicks for Monday, February 24th.
Trae Young taking on the Heat should lead to plenty of dimes. Miami has allowed the fifth-most assists to opposing point guards. Young found 15 dimes on 24 potential assists against them back in late December. He recorded 13 and 11 assists in two games against them last season as well.
Josh Giddey has gotten back to doing what he does best: Facilitating and rebounding. He went through a quiet stretch there but seems to be back on track with 20 and 18 combined rebounds + assists in his last two games.
Giddey has an excellent matchup tonight against the 76ers, who rank 24th in assists and 17th in rebounding. Giddey had 18 combined boards and dimes against them earlier this season.
When Deni Avdija sees minutes, he’s typically going over this mark. As small road favorites in Utah, it’s hard to see this one turning into a blowout. Over his last 30 games with 25+ minutes, Avdija has found at least four assists in 21 out of 30 games.
Avdija had six assists on 13 potential dimes against Utah back in late December, and two assists on nine potential assists earlier that month. The Jazz rank 28th in assists allowed.
