The NBA Trade Deadline is white hot, and there are still a few moves to be made before Thursday, most notably, where will Jimmy Butler land? In the meantime, we’ve got a solid 10-game slate to start the week off.

With De’Aaron Fox traded to San Antonio, look for DeRozan to see an uptick in assists. He only has three games without Fox, but in those contests, he finished with eight, 15, and eight potential dimes. His teammates converted on 1, 4, and 9 of those opportunities. This isn’t the best matchup for assists, but it’s also a very low line, so we ride!
The Pelicans have been without Brandon Ingram for a while now and just lost Dejounte Murray for the year. That should lead to even more usage out of Trey Murphy III, who has been balling over the past couple of months. He has 21+ points in 16 of his last 21 games, averaging 24.4 points per game over this span. He’s coming off a season-best 40-point outing against the Celtics too. Murphy and New Orleans take on the Nuggets, who are 28th in spot-up shooting defense, and 23rd in transition. Those two play types make up 51% of Murhpy’s scoring.
Thrust into the starting five due to injuries, Collier has taken off in the assist department. Utah’s rookie has six or more assists in 14 of his last 15 games, averaging 7.8 per game. He and the Jazz host Indiana, who is sixth in pace and 19th in defensive net rating. As long as Utah keeps this close, he should be able to eclipse this mark.
