Monday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks record: 93-67-1
Josh Hart More Than 14.5 Rebounds+Assists
Without Julius Randle around, Josh Hart has been a menace to this line. Over his last 21 games, he is averaging nearly 41 minutes per game. He has found at least 14 combined rebounds and assists in 18 of 21, averaging 11.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. He has gone over this mark in 14 of these 21 contests. The matchup on hand is solid too. The Warriors have allowed the most rebounds to opposing Small Forwards over the past 30 days, and are 11th in pace, so there should be ample opportunities for Hart to fill up the stat sheet.
Desmond Bane More Than 21.5 Points
After being out for the past two months, Desmond Bane returned to the hardwood on Saturday. Although he wasn’t at his best, he still put up 22 points and had seven assists across 32 minutes against OKC. Tonight, he and the Grizzlies take on the Kings, who are 12th in pace and 18th in adjusted defensive rating. Given the time he saw on the floor after missing so much time, it’s relatively safe to say that Bane is back, and we should expect his typical scoring. This season, he is averaging 24.4 points per game and has exceeded this total in 25 of 37 games (68%).
Lauri Markkanen Less Than 23.5 Points
Considering this is his first game back in a couple of weeks, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Lauri play fewer minutes than usual. When he does see the floor, he’s going to have a difficult time with the Timberwolves’ elite defense. They own the best adjusted defensive rating on the season and tend to play pretty slow too, ranking 21st in pace. With Jaden McDaniels blanketed on him, this line just feels a touch too high, especially since he hasn’t played in a bit.
