Eight games take place this Monday evening, but with a bevy of injuries surrounding the slate, PrizePicks doesn’t have a full complement of player props. Joel Embiid’s status is the most interesting player of note to keep an eye on, namely due to his MVP matchup against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets. There are a number of other big names who won’t be playing including Luka Doncic (suspension), Paul George, and potentially Damian Lillard. The PrizePicks record moves to 22-18 after a clean 2-0 sweep on Friday.

Monday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
Here are the best PrizePicks plays for NBA action on Monday, March 27.
Kyrie Irving Over 28.5 Points
The Mavericks have managed to get worse since the Kyrie trade. Since the trade they are 6-13 and have now slid out of the playoff picture as the current 11th seed. As stated in the opening paragraph, Doncic is out tonight, so look for Kyrie to pick up the slack with Dallas traveling to Indiana to take on the Pacers.
They are 26th in Defensive Net Rating, 9th in Pace, and the Mavericks don’t really play defense either. Dallas is 24th in DNR since Kyrie joined the team. All of these signs point to a high-scoring back-and-forth affair, especially with a 234 total listed, so look for Kyrie to be one of the key contributors to this total.
Jonas Valanciunas Over 27.5 Points+Rebounds
This isn’t listed yet, but it is at every other book, so I suspect it’ll eventually make it onto PrizePicks. The Trail Blazers are the gift that keeps on giving to big men this year and has allowed the most points per game to Centers. Portland also appears to be reeling in the season with the vast majority of their starters listed on the injury report. That includes Jusuf Nurkic who has missed the last two games. Most of their starters haven’t played the last two games, so there’s a decent chance it’s Drew Eubanks drawing the start at Center tonight once again.
Valanciunas, also known as Lithuanian Lightning, has been on a tear over the last couple of days. He has eclipsed this mark in five straight games averaging 35 points+rebounds per game. We just saw Nikola Vucevic dominate inside against this team two games back when Eubanks started. He finished with 23 points and 15 rebounds. JV should be able to replicate a similar stat line against Portland tonight.
Kawhi Leonard Over 27.5 Points
Without Paul George in the fold, it’ll likely be the Kawhi show. Leonard didn’t have the best game on Saturday without PG3, but over the course of the season without his counterpart available, Kawhi has generally flourished. He has cleared this line in five of eight games without George this year but has gone over in five of the six games he played at least ~30 minutes without him.
The Bulls are one of the best defensive sides in the league, but there doesn’t appear to be anyone with the length or size to really prevent Kawhi from cooking. He scored 33 points against Chicago at the end of January with PG3 in the lineup, so he should be able to find 28 without him tonight at home.
