Let’s test whether or not jinxes work. So far, we’ve had a 34-15 record with six plays a week this NBA season. It’s a relatively small sample, but that’s a 69.4% hit rate. Can we keep it going for the nine-game slate today? Time will only tell..

Without Immanuel Quickley in the fold, it’s Scottie running point. Barnes has recorded six or more assists in 18/23 games without Quickley, averaging 7.2 per game. Tonight he and the Raptors take on the Hawks, who allow the third-most assists and play at the second-fastest pace.
Yes, we are buying into the narrative play here. Wemby is in his home country to put on a show, so let’s back him to do so. The Pacers have struggled against bigs and are 24th in points in the paint defense and pick-and-roll man defense. Wemby went off against Indiana in a game last year, posting 31 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. A similar finish in the stat sheet feels fitting here.
It’s his first game back since the beginning of December, so we’re fading the man. Typically players get eased into the action following injury, so I’d expect anywhere from 20-25 minutes for Franz in this spot. It’s an awesome matchup, but if he’s not going to see enough time, then I doubt he gets over this. Dating back to last season, when Franz plays less than 29 minutes, he is under this line in 12 of 16 games.
