We have a relatively limited slate of games this Thursday, with just five on the board. Let’s keep the hot streak going here and find a couple of more winners for today.

We faded Ja Morant with this player prediction in the same matchup last time, and it worked, so let’s go back to the well. Morant and Memphis take on the Houston Rockets, who have allowed the second-fewest assists and eighth-fewest boards.
Morant has hit the less than on this number in 16 out of 28 games and all three matchups against Houston. He put up two, six and seven combined rebounds + assists in those meetings. When facing top-15 defenses (Houston is fourth in defensive rating), Morant has hit the less than on this line in nine out of 12 games.
Anthony Davis is out for a week or more, so Jaxson Hayes steps into the starting five. In three games without Davis, Hayes put up 10 (22 rebound chances in 35 minutes), six (10 rebound chances in 18 minutes) and nine boards (17 rebound chances in 33 minutes). The Wizards have allowed the most rebounds on the year, so Hayes shouldn’t have any trouble exceeding this line.
After missing roughly a month and a half, Franz Wagner appears to be back. He is playing a full complement of minutes, with 40 (due to overtime) against the Heat last game and 30 against the Pistons the game prior.
All Wagner did was score 29 and 32 points in those games. Even in his first game back against Portland, he scored 20 points in just 24 minutes. The Trail Blazers are 27th in defensive net rating on the year.
