It was not the best showing in Monday’s article, which means we’re due to find a positive result today, right? We are still limited on games, with just three taking place today, but that doesn’t mean a shortage of props.

Thursday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks Record: 14-8
Scottie Barnes has gone through the wringer this year. He was out for 11 games earlier this season due to an orbital fracture. He just sustained a bad ankle sprain, likely sidelining him for several weeks. Without the engine of their team around, along with Immanuel Quickley’s absence, Toronto will look to RJ Barrett to take on a larger role.
In nine games without the pair, Barrett has averaged 14.1 rebounds and assists, exceeding this player prediction number in six of those contests. He faces the Heat tonight, who rank 21st in assists allowed and 24th in rebounds permitted. These teams squared off on a back-to-back less than two weeks ago. Barnes finished with a triple-double in one meeting, falling short of another in the next game.
Since returning from his absence, Malik Monk has been destroying this combo player prediction line. He is now entrusted in the starting five. Monk has eclipsed this mark in six of his last eight games, with the two misses coming in blowouts where he played just 26 minutes.
Take those two out of the picture and he is averaging roughly 35 minutes, 23 points and eight assists per game. The Kings are on the road to face the Pelicans and sit as 6-point favorites with a 232 total. New Orleans is 27th in adjusted defensive net rating and 27th in opponent assists allowed. As long as this doesn’t turn into a blowout, Monk should have no trouble finding his way over this once again.
Domantas Sabonis is a rebounding god. We all know this by now. He’s third in the NBA in rebounds per game with 12.7 and has finished with at least 12 boards in 17 out of 23 contests this year. The Pelicans have allowed the most rebounds per game to opposing centers.
